Holiday rentals with a patio in Franklin County

My husband, dog, and I enjoyed our 4 nights at Nena's duplex. We liked the location--easy to drive to Frankfort and to nearby distilleries and restaurants. The fenced backyard was great for our dog. This was our first trip to the area, and we liked being in Lawrenceburg.

Stayed three nights to explore the bourbon trail. Great location - less than hour from most distilleries and less than 10 minutes from Buffalo Trace. Enjoyed walking downtown to restaurants in the evenings. Clean, comfortable condo/apartment with two great beds. This was perfect for our trip!

The place was clean! I honestly thought it was a 2 bedroom but that was my error. it’s a little hassle to find, but not the worst. Shanita was great at responding!

Everything was excellent for the night we stayed. My Mom wanted to "steal" the pillow she used as she thought is was the "best pillow ever". Everything was clean, there was plenty of stocked items like towels, bottled water, small snacks...it was also a short jaunt to the best restaurants in Versailles and only 10 minutes from Keeneland. My only complaint was the stairs, although people with decent knees that didn't walk all day taking photos will have no issue. I found them to be steep, but my 69yo Mom had no issue navigating them! Parking out back is fine and felt quite safe.

I recommend them a nice quiet and comfortable place very clean if you are thinking of a trip to Lexington do not hesitate to stay here I already have two weeks staying and I will keep staying while I can

Sarah was a great host, and everything was as-advertised and just what we needed. My friends and I had a great stay and loved the location - Buffalo Trace is minutes away and so many other distilleries are within a ~25 minute drive. Highly recommended, we would stay here again.

We can’t say enough good thinks about this space! It was decorated beautifully and had absolutely everything we needed at our fingertips. We loved how well the bathroom was stocked with towels and toiletries and had tons of good hooks and storage areas for all of our stuff. The kitchen was gorgeous and well-furnished. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. We’d highly recommend this place and would love to return!

This place was nothing short of incredible for our family reset! Kyle's home was gorgeous, had amazing amenities and truly perfect. There was not one thing to complain about, it checked every box. Kyle gave us a few tips on things to check out. The hot tub was the best addition to our time. The house itself was immaculate and everything felt brand new. The shuffleboard game was a favorite for our girls. I can't wait for another visit in the Fall. This is a must check out spot for a few days of relaxation and family connection.

Oh my goodness!! Whisky Woods was one of THE nicest, most comfortable Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in!! We had an absolutely amazing experience and we will definitely book again next time we’re in town!

From booking to check out, Teri, John, and their home exceeded all our expectations. Responses were always quick, the recommendations on restaurants and activities were amazing (Hoggys was the best), and their home was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here when you are in Frankfort and we would love to stay again!

Words cannot express how incredibly pleased were are with our stay at the Backyard Bourbon Retreat ! This place and the hosts, Bobbie & Tj deserve TEN star 🌟 rating !! The house is so cute and comfy and no details were spared to assure that our stay had everything ( and MORE) that we would need. It truly felt like home . It is a very quiet neighborhood and easy to get to local attractions . We enjoyed coming home, after a full day of distilleries , to a place where we could sit on the deck and relax . We even got to enjoy a Bonfire on our last night :) From the time we arrived to our departure , we were so blessed and at home.... with the welcome notes, texts to check in and give us suggestions on things to do in the area . We were actually sad to leave this retreat !! We definitely will return...looking forward to it!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our host April did a fantastic job of keeping us informed. She was always accessable and easy to get in contact with. The bungalow was comfortable and well maintained, located close to the downtown area.

The place is walkable to downtown and only 2 blocks from a famous local candy shop with 20 minute tours of their production facility. It is worth trying. Downtown is a beautiful walk with art, historical signage near the buildings, nice shops, coffee, ice cream, and an art walk. This is a beautiful little town with easy access to the Bourbon Trail. The house is clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen with plenty of coffee and tea to get you going in the morning.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. This is the perfect place for a family weekend getaway on the Bourbon Trail. There was plenty of space for our group of seven and the location can’t be beat. This is enclosed proximity to downtown Frankfort and walkable to most of the shops and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again. The only thing I would note for future guests is that no toiletries such as soap, shampoo, etc. are provided so be sure to bring those yourself. There is plenty of cookware if you are cooking at the property, but again be sure to bring things like olive oil, seasonings, etc. if you plan to cook. Definitely recommend a stay here and will come back!

Beautiful home, Beautiful Setting! Quiet rural setting with a Kentucky River view in the rear and a hillside cow pasture with pond across the road to the front. Was a perfect location for our group of three couples. We all absolutely loved our stay. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It, by far, exceeded our expectations, and our host, Lauren, was very responsive.

This was our 2nd stay here. Always responsive. Perfect for the Bourbon Trail. Will stay again.

Wanted to stay in place that was able to accommodate my family and this place was perfect! Super clean and ample room for everyone. Definitely will stay here again if we come back to the area!
