Staying at Remhoogte Wine Estate was amazing. The room is pretty and has every you need. The wine estate is amazing. We did a wine tasting in the afternoon on a terrace with a beautiful view on the two zebras, gnus and springboks. We can 100% recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay... beautiful & tranquil location! Comfortable sleeping arrangements & awesome kitchen with everything you need... Indoor pool obviously the cherry on top ! Lovely friendly hosts made us feel at home xxx

We had a fantastic stay at Mieke’s Cottage! Lovely little pool and the farm animals and little playground were a lovely touch as well. Our daughter loved it. Would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Beautiful, serene and peaceful. The cottages feel remote on the river and in the valley, but is 5 min away from the town.

Poenie's place is a delicious place in the middle of a dreamy location. We've spent 3 nights in her guest house. There is a double bed with nice bedding, a kitchen with a microwave and all the utensils needed. The bathroom shower was also great.There's a gorgeous swimming pool right in front of the house, that is shared with other guests. The view is spetacular, it was great to play domino while the cows were comunicating with each other under the moonlight. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to visit the Middelvlei Wine Estate because we had planned on having lunch on Monday and we didn't check before to make sure it would be open, it wasn't. Oh, and It was the most beautiful place to walk, the lakes, the birds, the animals, the vegetation, the grape vines, everything made our stay unforgettable.

I've stayed at medium sized hotels with smaller swimming pools than we had here, and the pool here was just for our family ... it's really massive and perfect for those hot summer days ! The cottage is really large and though a little dated it's clean and well looked after and has loads of space both indoor and out .. For a family with kids ( who'll love the pool !) it's perfect ..the sofa bed is excellent and the convertible pool table was an unexpected bonus .. We never got around to the wine tasting, but the hosts can arrange that for you We had a comfortable stay and would return. .. It's about 15 mins drive from central Stellenbosch and is well located for the many activities / venues in the Winelands between Stellenbosch and Paarl.

Lavender Cottage is in a very unique setting on the edge of Franshoek. The views are spectacular. It is a really peaceful, rural spot with wonderful pool. The house is perfect and is equipped with everything you might need. We had a fantastic three days and really hope to return in the future.

We enjoyed our stay and felt safe. The property is as described and very clean. The pool is a dream and the car can be parked right outside the front door. A lot of love has been put into the details of the accommodation and you feel right at home. The city can be reached in 10 minutes by car, as well as many wineries and the Root 44 Market.

Beautiful place and amazing host. Tim is a highly responsive host who went above and beyond to help us and make our stay great-- from the booking till the end of the stay. The location/farm is lovely, close to Franschhoek, and as advertised. The farm, the little creek, the hot tub, jungle gym, area for kids to explore-- super fun and relaxing. It was my husband's birthday and Tim helped us get reservations to a lovely place and organized the transfers-- making our holiday experience even better. I highly recommend this place.

Kirsty was an amazing host! The property was perfect with everything we needed. The whole estate is so well kept. The rusks were delicious. I didn’t bring the correct adapters for the hairdryer and within minutes of me messaging her she produced one! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much. You should be very proud of such a fabulous property.

This space is luxury and unique! An absolute must for animal lovers - to be able to sleep above a stable and look out over the paddocks is so heart warming Highly recommended for a comfortable and romantic stay in the beautiful wine lands Thank you I will be back

Our stay at RiverStone was a delight. We stayed at both of Hermien's properties (see our review for HoneyOak as well) and both were brilliant. RiverStone is bigger but extremely comfortable (a wonderful shower!), a great braai (with as much wood provided as you could want) and a lovely location - peaceful, scenic and really convenient for Stellenbosch and around. Everything you could need for a short (and longer) stay is provided and you won't want for anything. Hermien is so friendly, helpful and communicative too - we will certainly return.

Absolutely amazing place, just as described. Also the host thought of everything from local recommendations to all materials for the hot-tub (which was a real delight on both hot and cold days) perfectly situated outside of the very busy Paarl but very close to the N1 to still get around easily.

Stayed in a lot of airbnbs, this is one of the nicest. Perfect for a couple!

What a memorable time we had! The views are magnificent and made our long walks worthwhile.The beds were so comfy! We really enjoyed family time around the fireplace during the evenings. The kids had fun cooling off at the private pool during the day!... but the cherry on top was most definitely those breakfast baskets!

Carol was there to greet us and show us her lovely home. We also met Caroline who was in hand to help at check in and check out. The house suited us perfectly. Close to family but with easy access to restaurants, vineyards, shops and beaches. The four of us really enjoyed our stay and Carol had gone the extra mile in providing those little extras that make all the difference. A wonderful two weeks.

Wow...what wonderful time we had Peter and Gebevieve's house. Such a great place to unwind and relax with all the amenities. Restaurants and tidal pools within walking distance made it all the better. A real gem and would love to go back sometime in the not too distant future. Loved it.

Ann was a great host and was very flexible with our check-in time and went out of her way to ensure the place was ready when we arrived early. She was very responsive to all our questions during out stay and gave us recommendations and advise when we met her. The house was lovely with amazing views, and was close to town while also being in a very peaceful area. We'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Lalapanzi and the Skaap House provided an unforgettable two-week retreat for our family of seven. Nestled in stunning natural beauty, the lodge offers breathtaking views that truly felt like a dream. Waking up to the serene landscape each morning was a joy. What truly sets Lalapanzi apart is the opportunity to walk among zebras, springboks, bonteboks, and wildebeest within the game reserve – a magical experience we cherished daily. The warm hospitality and friendly, responsive staff made us feel right at home, and the proximity to fantastic restaurants, wineries, and various outdoor activities was a bonus. We can't recommend Lalapanzi highly enough for anyone seeking an idyllic South African escape.
