Cottage holiday rentals in Friesland

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. There was delicious coffee, plenty of towels and also two bathrobes for us. However, heating the pool is a small challenge. It takes quite a long (2.5 hours) and a thermostat would be helpful, maybe that can still be set up?!

Wonderfully quiet place with easy to use hot tub. Ideal for relaxing in the small garden and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. The lights are a very nice detail which makes the terrace beautifully dressed in the evening.

Our stay with Nanda and Peter was in a nutshell! The polite reception and a short but precise introduction to the property made us feel right at home. The AirBnB offers everything as advertised and it is even more beautiful than the pictures suggest. Communication worked great and we were given tips and recommendations for the area. The combination of a nice and privacy-respecting family next door, the opportunity to interact with the trustworthy animals and the quiet environment make the AirBnB unique. An absolute recommendation for every animal and nature lover. Thank you for everything and hopefully until soon!

We had a wonderful time staying at Wim and Stephanie's place and felt right from the start. The cozy house is located perfectly to reach some of the most beautiful spots in the Netherlands. It has everything you could wish for while on holiday (actually one of the best equipped kitchens I have ever seen in an airbnb), as well as some very comfy beds. Our dog loved the fenced garden area and the play session with new friends. Thanks for everything!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Friesland. Every single detail was thoughtfully designed to make us feel comfortable and at home. The surroundings were stunning , peaceful, quiet, and full of natural beauty. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We truly appreciated the care that went into every aspect of the stay. Very nice old little house with its own terrace and small garden right on the Canal. Very quiet and rural location, but no shopping nearby. Ideal for relaxing, especially if the weather cooperates. House is very clean and well equipped, but due to age a little cramped (bathroom). The two of us had a very nice few days and felt very comfortable with our dog.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was easy to find, got good instructions in advance and even breakfast is well taken care of. This was a really nice surprise. This place is really recommended😄

We felt very comfortable right away. The host was always available and accommodating. Quiet location, cozy beds. Bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. All as described.

The cottage is as shown in the photos and equipped with every comfort! Everything has been thought of. At the table you can sit with a view of the water where many birds can be seen. When we arrived there was snow and ice which was beautiful to see. In the second half of the week it was so hot that we could sit outside. We have enjoyed the place and the silence. What a great place! The house itself is pretty spacious, all amenities available, great, modern kitchen. Above, 2 bedrooms with top quality boxsprings. The view from the living room is like a postcard: wide view, open space, birds flocking around. Well located in between little towns, always something nice to see. Family De Witte is very responsive (got responded within 2 mins). I can only strongly recommend this place. You find peace in heart and mind.

It’s a nice peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Our kid enjoyed both indoor and outdoor park. Definitely a place to come back again!

What an incredibly nice and lovely cottage, in the middle of the forest and at a window. Everything was present and clean. Furniture is slightly different than in the photo, but certainly no less bad. Beds are fine, we slept wonderfully! Terrace outside is also really nice, nice in the sun. Surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Plenty to see and do. It's a bit of a search which small path to park, but the description clearly indicates that. Owners are friendly and quick to respond. Top!

Very nice location in a quiet area. If you love nature, you're in the right place. Cycling and hiking are top in Drenthe. The cottage is neat, simple but as far as we are concerned completely super. Recommended
