Benjamin is a great host, we received a great introduction into the history of the place. The appartment is very nice, clean and well maintained. It has everything you need. Also Benjamin was very helpful and attentive, he gave good recommendations for a boat rental. Fantastic base to explore the Frisian lakes by boat.

A beautiful little place to stay. Very clean and tidy. We lacked nothing,we will be back. Very centrally located and you could walk to everything.

Our stay with Ymke was very nice. The location is perfect – around the corner are Leeuwarden and Harlingen, ideal for a nice getaway or if you want to find the hustle and bustle. As a couple who likes to cook, we were especially excited about the kitchen. We had brought our own knives, but otherwise everything was really provided to prepare a delicious meal. We would love to come back here to recover from the hustle and bustle in our hectic life in peace.

Very nice apartment, very comfortable bed, very friendly host. The next day the host gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding cities and how to drive a boat to visit nearby attractions. Unforgettable travel experience, we will come again.

we enjoyed our stay and the holiday home is tip top in order and provided with everything you need and in addition everything is sparkling clean and beautifully located on a lake. Hella is a very friendly hostess and helpful, in the area beautiful forests for hiking and plenty of fantastic cycling routes. In short, good to stay there. Mieke and Wim.

The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped – everything from the kitchen to the bathroom was right. The location is particularly notable: an absolute dream for anglers! We visited the town of Sneek, which is about 15 minutes away and into the town of Joure, which is about 25 minutes away. Unfortunately, in bad weather, there are hardly any alternatives to do anything else. This should not be considered a criticism of the owner of this apartment, it is just a small note for younger couples. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall a completely successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice Easter weekend at Petra and Rein's farm. The farm is beautifully located on the water between the meadows. There is no traffic, you only hear the sound of the birds and the wind. We immediately felt comfortable, thanks in part to the warm welcome from Petra, who showed herself to be a very pleasant hostess throughout our stay. The area invites you to walk, cycle or a nice trip in one of the canoes that Rein and Petra provide. All in all, this is highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and nice place among the Frisian meadows.

Aukje and Emma are wonderful hosts! The contact was super friendly and they were available anytime. The house right on the water is a dream! The amenities are perfect and we were even able to borrow two bikes. We felt very comfortable! You can make great trips in the area. If you want to spend a nice time in Friesland, be sure to book this house:-)

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

We were very warmly welcomed by Hermann! Finding the place was easy. All around, the park is still being built - but you don't notice any of it at the house!! It is very idyllic and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for. For our daughter, the biggest experience was seeing the cows grazing in the pasture! You had a direct view from the window or You could sit on the bench and sat 5 meters away :) We felt very comfortable - thank you for everything!

We felt very comfortable right away. The apartment is great and the amenities great. Our kids loved the trampoline. Also that we could see sailboats every day and ate overlooking the water was great. We enjoyed it so much that we definitely come back again. It is definitely recommended to take bicycles with you, because the nearest supermarket is a few kilometers away. If you like peace and seclusion, you will be able to relax here. Thank you to the very likeable host. It should also be mentioned that our daughter had during the stay birthday and even received a cake from the host and a garland. She was very happy about it. :-)

Johanna's house in Joure is completely as you see on the pictures. It is in the center of Joure but still very quiet and private. It is tastefully furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Communication with Johanna was smooth and friendly. In short, a 5 star stay and definitely recommended!

The place was very nice and well maintained, we felt right at home! Everything was available in the house...from baking paper, Zewa, etc. to Maggi, the kitchen was well stocked. the host Patricia was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet with direct views of the water... It all worked out and we can only recommend the place!

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Renske's home is nestled in the last village of the island, and a moment's walk into the dunes. So it was perfect for us who were searching for peace, quiet, and nature. The kitchen was spacious with great amenities, and the bedrooms were soo cozy! It was a bit challenging to find her home. It's amidst several other homes/doors. There was no sign, whether with a name or number, on an outside wall like other cottages/doors did. So we asked neighbours who were out and about if they could help us find the correct cottage, which we did. Renske was super supportive with my questions with prompt responses, I really appreciated her warmth. Thank you for having us Renske!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was very nice and clean. Just a little smaller than shown in the pictures, but completely ok for two people. We were very satisfied with everything, especially Johanna was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were primarily in Stavoren for fishing and had a lot of fun and beautiful fish. Thanks for everything!

APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on the Jisselmeer. Waking up in bed was never nicer. Very quiet, super nice hosts. Despite advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket is a 5-7 minute walk daily. A cafe is almost right outside the front door.

We stayed at Lily‘s apartment over the weekend and we felt right at home. My first thought was: so beautiful! Damn, we’re only staying for 2 nights 😂 The ocean was so close 🌊 we could even see it from the couch, which was very cozy, and the apartment looked like in the photos. I’m definitely coming back! ♥️
