Workers' cottage (from 1914) in the picturesque Frisian town of Grou. The cottage is ± 100 meters from the Pikmeer and the jetties of boat rental Anja. A south-facing backyard with a sheltered terrace. French doors from the kitchen/dining area give access to the garden and terrace. In the shed, there are two bicycles that can be used for trips. The house and the furnishings are in good condition, new Swiss Sence Boxspring bed, comfortable sofa, dining table overlooking the garden.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation. The house is located on a quiet road at the water. From the backyard you have direct access to the river. You can moor your boat at the permanent jetty of the house. The house is modern and luxuriously furnished with a modern kitchen and 3 bedrooms for 5 persons. 2 bedrooms have a box-spring bed (160x200), and there is 1 bed for children. Bed linen and towels are optionally available for rent (€20 per person).

Cozy ground floor apartment with garden near the city center

Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

Beautiful double room in the heart of Leeuwarden

The home with private room is located in the center of Leeuwarden, a 5-minute walk from the shops. Also close to the Jumbo supermarket - where you can park cheaply for €3.50 to €6.00 per day - and a 2-minute walk from the Prinsentuin (a beautiful park for walking, sitting, swimming). There's plenty to do in the area! In addition, the centre of Leeuwarden also offers plenty of activities, as Leeuwarden was the European Capital of Culture in 2018.

Cozy compact room near the city center

The room is on the upper floor where there are 2 b&b rooms. From this compact comfortable room (12 m2), you can walk to the center of Leeuwarden in 12 minutes. In the same time you walk from the station to the Airbnb. The quiet room was completely newly built in 2022. Features a private (rain)shower and toilet. But the most important thing in the room is of course the nice box spring bed. There is a coffee corner (Dolce Gusto!) with sink.

We are Kees and Gea. We live in a beautiful historic townhouse on the canal on the edge of the city center of Leeuwarden. So you are within 1 minute walk in the heart of the Cultural Capital of 2018. In addition to a great location from where you can explore the city, there is also the possibility to follow a workshop painting by Gea Koevoets.
