Studio with unique views over the IJsselmeer

In the old center of Hindeloopen, there is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking lot at the harbor. You can store your bicycles in the garden that belongs to the guest house.

The front house of the farm has been converted into a spacious guest house overlooking the garden and meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. If you come to stay with us, you can discover and experience farm life, the Wadden Coast and Friesland, completely at your own pace. Welcome!

Guesthouse "De Kraanvogel"

Guesthouse "De Cranvogel" The cozy log cabin can be found in the yard of a farmhouse and has its own driveway. Sheltered under a wooden embankment, you can look towards the Fochtelooërveen and into the beautifully maintained garden. During the summer, the view may be obstructed by the growth of corn or any other crop. The log cabin contains a bedroom, bathroom and living room and the whole can be heated with a wood stove. You can make your own cup of coffee or tea in the log cabin.

Lodging "Smederij Sterk" is located in the old city forge of J. Sterk. The monumental building dates from 1907 and is located in the middle of the city center, close to museums, restaurants, cozy shopping streets and the station. The accommodation has its own entrance, a living room with its own kitchen, a bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The lodging overlooks and borders a beautiful square where you can also sit outside.

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. The studio with panoramic views over the countryside is located behind the house on the Merk and in the middle of the center near one of the most beautiful squares in Friesland.

At the edge of Burgum, at the back of the yard, is our summer cottage. A former horse barn that we have converted into an independent space overlooking a beautiful piece of meadow, where rabbits and storks can be spotted now and then!
