Four miles beyond us takes you to Eveline State Rec Area. The cabin is cozy- monitor heat or the warmth of late day sun through the southwest facing picture windows. $0 Cleaning Fee! Sunnyside Hideaway is an entire apartment on the lower floor of our home. Only 8 miles to the Spit, 5 miles to the Kilcher Homestead, but away from the hustle and bustle of Homer’s busy summer season. We provide breakfast bars & snacks, and you are welcome to use our washer and dryer (top of the stairs.) In summer, enjoy the outdoor area with firepit, gas grill, dining table & chairs. We even have room to park your boat (unless it's really huge.) NOT in the tsunami zone.

This cabin offers a kitchenette with mini fridge. we supply water on the counter for cooking and washing. NO RUNNING WATER, WINTER stays have use of a old fashioned outhouse. SUMMER guest have access to our washhouse with shower. . We are a small family ranch/peony farm. Located 18 miles out of Homer, on East end rd. about a 30 min drive out of town.

This simple, charming cabin sits atop a green (or white or brown) pasture overlooking Kachemak Bay and two spoiled horses. It has a quiet “out of town” feel, yet, the Spit and downtown homer are only an 8-12 minute drive away. You might find fresh eggs from our hens in the refrigerator if they are producing well!
