Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Fujisawa

Hiroki was the host during our stay. The place really did match the description and actually exceeded our expectations. Hiroki was always a generous, friendly and helpful host while also sensitively respecting our privacy. And his English is perfect which also helped! He told us this had been his grandfather’s house. He still runs a super community cafe and gift shop adjoining the house. The garden is really lovely too. And the bikes! The house was perfect for our small family reunion in Japan. Chigasaki is a lovely town, off the international tourist map but with gorgeous coastline, surfing scene, Hawaii vibes!, views of Mount Fuji and fabulous restaurants and bars. Also very well connected by train and a great local bus which stops right outside the house. Day trips to Enoshima, Kamakura, Tokyo and Hakone. Also took a weekend to visit Kyoto by bullet train. All a perfect introduction for a first (or subsequent) visit to Japan.

Booked this place for a week stay with a group of 5. Check in was quick and easy, the house looks exactly like the photos and was extremely clean. Plenty of space and a walkable distance to local combinis and train station. Host was quick to respond to any questions. I would absolutely recommend a stay!

Very nice place to stay. Spotless. Very clean. Fully equipped. Exactly as I said. Loved it. There is a convenient washing machine. There is also a projector with good sound. The screen is very sharp. I love watching YouTube while eating in the living room with the family. Very close to convenience stores and shopping malls and the train station. Walking distance. There are restaurants along the way. Tomio. The host is very kind and friendly. Very helpful. I am very helpful. Check in and check out time is flexible. There is a guide to coming to the house. Wifi code is very fast. 10/10 The house is very warm, well proportioned, clear, not too narrow. If anyone is visiting, I recommend this place!! I have no hesitation in giving five stars for this place at all.

I enjoyed it with my friends and family. Located in Enoshima, the location is excellent for sightseeing on the island. We walked from the parking lot, but it was close, and the room inside had a cool, cool, and American vintage atmosphere as pictured. There is a microwave, a large refrigerator, glasses and dishes, and you can use a gas stove and sink with an authentic restaurant. Towels are only bath towels, and you can use shampoo and hair dryer. Fully equipped with a wifi router, I connected my smartphone to the projector and enjoyed the video. The toilet and shower were clean. There were 9 people, but the beds were separated, so I had a good rest. I want to stay again!Thank you.😊

We stayed at Emi’s place with 4 adults and 2 kids, and it was very comfortable. Easy to find, close to the station- manageable with kids and luggage. We liked the area- lots of bars and alley ways/streets to explore. Very clean place with everything we needed. Emi was quick to respond- great communication.

It was so beautiful and we had a pleasant time. There was a small child, but there was also a chair for children, which was very helpful. They also responded quickly and politely to inquiries, and it was a really good stay!

My family of 5 stayed at Ritsuko’s home. We greatly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms all had tatami mat flooring which gave the home an authentic Japanese feel. The home had all the amenities we required to have a comfortable stay for three evenings. We enjoyed the fact that the home was tucked away on a quiet street away from traffic. Therefore, it was quite private and quiet. Ritsuko was incredibly responsive and very helpful. I would highly recommend this home.

We had a lovely stay. The Accomodation was really comfortable, the apartment very well equipped and well presented. It had everything you need and it felt like Yume had paid great attention to detail and was really invested in making anyone’s stay comfortable. It felt fresh, clean and very well maintained. It is within very easy walking distance to the station and a 7-Eleven, bakery and restaurants. The neighbourhood has a nice feel to it too. The stairs are steep inside the apartment but that is standard for Japan. The apartment is very spacious by Japanese standards. All in all a very good stay. Thank you.

We loved our stay at June’s apartment. Very convenient as 7/11 was on the ground floor of the building. June provided some amazing recommendations for the bars/restaurants. There are quite a few train station with one only 5 mins walk. We could send our luggage to our next destination using 7/11 Yamato service. We had to drop our luggages before 11 am to be in Kyoto the next day. Very convenient! Would love to come back and stay here again.

Smaller than expected, but in great location to visit senso ji temple.

the location was amazing! it had everything we needed from conbinis to restaurants to a dryer. it is not far to walk to the station as well. the place is quite small actually but it fits 2 people. won’t be able to open 2 huge luggages at once though.

Place is easy to access, very nice and comfort beds, spacey easy for 5 people to walking around. Near to station of Skytree and asakutsa, beautiful surrounding... alot of park, and next to sumida rivers... Skytree tower is on the sight, nice view on the night.

Great spot in Shibuya! This location is very walkable to shibuya station and nearby shopping/restaurants. The beds and room were a good size especially considering how small other airbnb options are in the area. All listed amenities were included and our linen was clean. We were pretty independent for our trip but my one critique is host’s long response time. As long as you follow the very clear instructions and/or make requests ahead of time, this shouldn’t be an issue but something to be mindful of. Still a 5 stars experience for the value.

Masami was amazing! From the booking process to the stay, she was extremely communicative and responsive. Her guides in the home was thorough and left me feeling confident when navigating appliances in a difference language. The location was also very convenient. I would definitely recommend Masami!

Sho's apartment was in a great location, close to public transit with various options. Sho was a great host, checking in with us and making sure that everything met our expectation. It was a great trip and made better by being out of the bustle of Tokyo centre while still being very accessible. I recommend Sho's accommodation to anyone.

Wonderful stay in Odawara! Train station was extremely close, as well as cool areas to explore like Odawara Castle and Miyuki beach. It’s also a quick train ride to Hakone as well as other areas to see Mount Fuji. The apartment was beautifully decorated and offered many complimentary items for guests. Super quiet too. Loved it!

A comfortable place to stay for a week in tokyo - felt local/removed from the touristy parts of town, but it is pretty easy to get to Shinjuku and Shibuya, given how close it is to Kyodo station. Plenty of room for a family of 4 and easy access to groceries. Would not recommend for people with limited mobility or a lot of luggages since it is a 3rd floor walk up and the stairs are fairly narrow (tight for big suitcases)

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

Eric's place was exactly as described. We knew that the kitchen was not fully equipped which suited us as we intended to avail ourselves of the kombini or restaurants. Early risers in need of coffee may want to bring their own portable brewing devices. There is an electric kettle. McDonald's closeby opens at 7, or there is bottled coffee available at the kombini (Lawson's for example) which can be microwaved. We used the delivery service Wolt, too. The laundry facilities are on the balcony outside the apartment and there is no dryer. Clothes dried very quickly when hung up. The neighborhood is residential and quiet, offering to foreigners perhaps a more authentic experience of Japan. Those travelers with heavy luggage should know that there are two flights of steep stairs. Either write down the address for taxi drivers or learn to say the address in Japanese. Thanks, Eric.

The apartment was great, the location was great, and Bryan was very flexible with all our needs! Definitely one of the best places to stay in Tokyo. We would definitely recommend his place to a family visiting Tokyo and looking for a comfortable stay!

Hitomi took amazing care of me and my daughter while we were her guests! She sent us a detailed list of recommendations for the neighborhood including kid-friendly highlights. When my daughter needed to go to the doctor, she sent a list of clinics. She also helped me ship some luggage to make my train trip easier. She was an incredible host, always going above and beyond.
