[Superb view of the Sea of Japan] Ocean front villa with a focus on virgin cedar/6 people

This is an oceanfront private villa with the Sea of Japan in front of you. Adjacent to Ayukawa Beach, you can enjoy the blue sea during the day, the sunset on the horizon in the evening, and the fishing lights and starry sky at night. It is a special location where you can feel the Sea of Japan, which changes its appearance every season, at any time during your stay. The building uses solid cedar wood for all ceilings, floors and walls. The scent and warmth of the wood creates an extraordinary space where you can relax and escape from everyday life. You can also enjoy the sea and sunset from the bath, and spend a luxurious time while soaking in the bathtub. The inn is a two-story private building. It has 4 single beds on the 1st floor and 1 double bed on the 2nd floor, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. There is also a terrace overlooking the sea, which is ideal for morning coffee or a quiet evening. The surrounding area is one of the best fishing spots on the Echizen coast. A fishing boat is departing from Ayukawa Fishing Port in front of you, so it is also recommended for a stay for the purpose of fishing. We also run the Seaside Café Maare, which is a 3-minute drive away, where you can enjoy a BBQ without having to bring anything. Enjoy a stay surrounded by nature, the warmth of wood, and a breathtaking view of the Sea of Japan at Guest House Maare.

Cabin in Takashima

Nordic Mountain Cabin Takashima | Near Lake Biwa | Campfire | Sunset | Stunning Mountain Views

This is a private, single-unit rental accommodation in a secluded setting surrounded by nature. Time passes slowly, and every moment remains quietly in my heart. A rural landscape stretches out before you, and beyond it lies the beautiful scenery of Mt Hakusan. From the deck, surrounded by flowers, you can watch the beautiful sunset over the mountains. In the evening, gather around the bonfire, roast marshmallows, and enjoy a relaxing time under the starry sky. Enjoy a BBQ while listening to the sounds of nature. [House Story] This house was inspired by a childhood dream of living in a Nordic home.It all started with my longing for a cosy cabin like the ones you see in stories, surrounded by the tranquillity of nature. After living in Sweden and New Zealand, I returned to Japan and, together with my husband Andy, took over a cottage that was due to be demolished just one month later. This house has been lovingly renovated, piece by piece, by my husband and me, like a work of art, to reflect the Nordic philosophy of connection with nature and to harmonise with the beautiful natural surroundings of this place. 4 km to Lake Biwa There is a convenience store within walking distance A large supermarket is also a 10-minute drive away. About a 15-minute drive to Metasekoya
