A nice place to stay awaits in a quiet location about 2 km from Stein, Kunstmeile, Donau-Uni and the Danube. The apartment is ideal for 2-4 guests, but can be occupied by a maximum of 5 guests. The location in the Alaun Valley, surrounded by forest and stream, impresses with its seclusion and the garden for relaxing and playing. Unfortunately, there is no cell phone network in the house and it is poor in the garden. For athletes, there are over 1000 climbing routes (see travel guide) as well as beautiful bike routes (bike storage available).

The town of Gföhl with shops and restaurants is 1 km away. At the Krumau reservoir (10 km), you have the opportunity for a boat trip.

A supermarket with an attached café (with various breakfast offers) and a gas station are close by.

The wedding locations in the town center are within walking distance of about 1.5 km via a night-lit walking path. We don't need air conditioning, even in midsummer the house is pleasantly cool through the thick stone walls!

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022.
