Barra is not only beach...we can simply stroll along the wooden walkway that runs through much of the beach, we can find a huge wall with approx. 500 meters long, that enters the sea inside, and we can't forget what gives the most beauty to Barra beach - the Farol (lighthouse).

Only the gateway is shared with hosts.

A Lodge In Blue Aveiro city center

The Lodge In Blue, is one of the rare houses of Aveiro historic centre that, although modernized, still holds a genuine feel. Near the Chapel of S. Gonçalinho (1714), next to the Fish Market, and near the typical bars and restaurants, the three-level Lodge In Blue has been partially rehabilitated in 2014, retaining many of its original materials, giving it the atmosphere of the traditional Beira-Mar houses of the 50s.

We are open to reservations and in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at all the properties that we manage. Casa do Mercado is situated in the heart of Aveiro, this typical house is surrounded by many local shops, restaurants, coffee shops and terraces. Around the house, there are many nocturn life until 2 am(weekend) or 10 pm(week).
