The room was great! It is very central and has everything you need. We used the private terrace several times and loved it. We also got a super tasty breakfast from dear Samodha for a fair price. She and her family are absolutely lovely, we felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

We had a lovely stay in Galle! The apartment was perfectly located between Galle fort and Galle hospital for our medical placement. Sachintha and his family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home with helpful recommendations and home cooked desserts. The apartment was kept really clean and was overall a perfect place to stay!

A perfect stay with a lovely family as hosts. Right from the booking to the day of check-in and beyond, Chanuka was very proactive in checking on us, recommending modes of travel, nearby restaurants, and everything! We had a warm welcome by Chanuka's father with a refreshing welcome drink who showed us around the place and offered assistance anytime. Just as a family member would, he advised us to be careful while stepping out at night, offered to cook food, made us feel very welcome and right at home. Meeting and interacting with Chanuka and his lovely family was truly a pleasure. Mango House 1 is just perfect in every aspect with every facility available for a comfortable stay, and is maintained very well with great personal attention. We were even offered an authentic Sri Lankan breakfast and it was super delicious and healthy. I gladly 100% recommend Chanuka's Mango House 1 as the best place to stay in Galle for a loving memory to cherish always!

Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time in Shehan’s apartment for almost 40days❤️ The apartment sits in a quiet neighborhood which is surrounded by lots of green. It only takes 5-10 mins by tuktuk to get to the city center by main road. Our place was well prepared before we arrived, it has every basic things we need and all the appliances functioned well. Shehan and his family are very warm-hearted and helpful, they always bring the things we need and solve the small problems in the first time after we tell them. Meanwhile they also gave fully respect to our privacy. We’d love to book the apartment again if there’s chance in future!
