You can park on the street close to the house for two hours free of charge between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Otherwise, there is free parking around the clock about a five-minute walk from the house

Welcome to our terp in Waygaard on Bottschlotter See. The Old Canoe Hous is a lovingly furnished, open 130 square meter apartment in our thatched-roof barn with a view of the lake, the surrounding meadows and the North Frisian marsh. It is ideal for nature lovers: you can fish, canoe, cycle around the accommodation and watch the flocks of birds that use the lake, which is partly a nature reserve, as a migration and nesting site. The lake is used for windsurfing and wingfoiling.

The courtyard is the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding islands and Halligen, the Charlottenhof and the Nolde Museum. It is only 8 km to the Danish border. Lovingly and thoughtfully, we have created a fantastic apartment on 70 square meters for 2 (up to 4) people on 2 levels - the sleeping area is located in the light-flooded upper floor. Please note that the only door is the bathroom door - the rest is open. We have tried to build as sustainably, ecologically and high-quality as possible - the colors are from the chalk period, the paints are water-based.
