Carol and Gavin were so friendly and welcoming during our stay. Despite the place being attached to their house, we felt like we had the perfect mix of privacy and access to them if we needed anything. Great deal, simple but really was all we needed for our few days in Galway. Like the listing say: no cooking facilities. Would have been great to have a toaster oven or something to heat up food but we were able to make some nice salads and there's tons of restaurants near by. Would definitely stay again. Staying with Ann was a lovely experience! This is far more the feel of a bed and breakfast than anything I’d experienced at an Airbnb. The stay is in a cozy neighborhood, in walking distance to delicious restaurants. But the best part was feeling as though you are a guest in a relatives home—Ann is very welcoming and made the most beautiful breakfast spread in her dining room on delicate China. The laughs shared with other guests at her table are ones I will carry with me as the best bits of my travel here!

Karol is a wonderful host! Her home is very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located—there’s an easy bus into Galway, but I love the walk along the beach. The room is cozy and gets wonderful sunlight in the afternoons, and the kitchen is clean and well equipped. Karol is so lovely, and has great recommendations for things to do and see around the area
