Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gamla Staden-Sandskogen

We were 16 people on a family trip at Easter 2025. We had a great trip, with lots of coziness. The house and area are definitely worth a visit

Very pleasant stay at the farmhouse. Comfortable for a large group of people, and the sauna/hot tub was a huge perk. Would absolutely recommend!

We traveled with two families (a total of 7 people) and had a wonderful time here. The house offered enough space and opportunities to spread out. The house is very nicely decorated and the garden with adjacent forest also offers space for relaxation. A path through the woods leads to a very nice beach on foot. The surroundings, including Åhus, are fantastic, quiet and not so crowded. We had a fantastic stay here and will be happy to come back. Thank you P-O!

We had a very cozy and lovely stay! We were granted privacy in our apartment, but Camilla was very friendly and provided lots of recommendations for us. Location is perfectly central to grocery stores, train station, bus stops, beach, etc. Overall the stay was perfect for us!

We enjoyed it very much. The place is great and it's totally quiet. Great places and beaches can be reached quickly in the vicinity. The communication with Joanna was super quick and always very helpful. Many thanks from us to Joanna.

Staying with Vigdis and Peter was pure relaxation - everyone felt very comfortable in the house, garden and the great surroundings! The nice communication and great amenities let us arrive immediately on vacation, thank you very much!!

We had an amazing week at Veronica's place. The house is very clean and has everything you need and the nicely decorated interior made us feel at home at once. The house is perfectly located in a private part of the forest within 10 minute walking distance of the beach. A variety of supermarkets and restaurants are only 15 mins away by car. There are lots of hiking trails in the area and a nature reserve is just around the corner as well. Veronica is a very friendly host and was always very quick to respond to our questions. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in this cozy cottage located in a beautiful surroundings (where we did two long walks in varying nature). A nice welcome from the host couple and a thoughtful and just enough breakfast with everything we needed. Bought with us lunch and coffee from a cozy cafe in the village – highly recommended. Would love to come back.

Wonderful house!

We stayed in the beautiful cottage in the middle of the woods for two weeks. We have fully enjoyed the surroundings, nature and the warm hospitality of James and Jenny. The cottage is very cozy and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay. Can only say "wow." So quaint and beautiful. Dinner at Gästis a stone's throw away is mandatory! Can't wait to go back already!

Really nice play to stay for two or three nights. Really close to the sea, nice garden and calm neighbors.

Annette is a really nice hostess who supported us a lot even in difficult times. Check-in was also very smooth and if we had help or a question she helped us right away. The house is very nicely decorated too and with full facilities. We also enjoyed the time in the conservatory very much. You have a beautiful view of the landscape from the conservatory. We can only recommend this cottage:)

A very nice and cozy home. We felt like at home right away. Nice garden and everything you need was available and the pool will be the icing on the cake. Can highly recommend this home.

We felt very comfortable, it may be that some utensils were a little older and some dust could be found here and there, but it has everything you need, Yvonne and her husband are very friendly and the garden is a dream! We were allowed to harvest from the vegetables, which I unfortunately only read on the last day in the booklet with the house rights, and lots of great places to relax and discover. The highlight, especially for our son, is the heated pool we were allowed to use. A dream!

We are two families who spent a week in Anders house. A perfect house for two families (4 adults and 4 children), with very good social spaces, amazing pool and lovely outdoor space. The house is perfectly located with proximity to the beach and sea within walking distance and well-stocked grocery stores a short drive away. Communication with Anders has been good and everything from check in to check out has worked spotless. We had a great week.

The accommodation was wonderful, in a quiet and peaceful location near the railway station. The household equipment was above standard. Lars communicated quickly, friendly and clearly. I definitely recommend it.

It was a really beautiful homely place. The location is very picturesque and house had every amenity one may need. David went above and beyond to help us out and make sure we have an amazing vacation. The place is also extremely good for kids. Thanks a lot David for hosting us. Really beautiful experience
