Monthly Rentals in Gatebeck

Such a lovely place to stay for the weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Was also in a good spot near supermarkets, restaurants and not a long drive from other towns such as Windermere.

Everything is just as described, we had an amazing stay at this cozy little spot! My partner and I absolutely loved the unique van experience—without needing to drive it. The surroundings were quaint and peaceful, and waking up to sheep right outside was surreal. Phillip was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, even helping us set up the firewood for the pizza oven, which made for such a memorable evening. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a charming, off-the-beaten-path getaway!

Thank you so much Derek for letting us stay in your wonderful hideaway "The Potting Head" It was truly fantastic. This place has a gorgeous garden to sit out on and listen to nature, we even heard tawny owls hitting in the woods. The bed was super comfy, the shower - just like being in a spa and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything anyone could need. Derek even left a hamper with lovely items for us to indulge in through our stay. The Plough Inn, which is only 5 minutes walk away, comes highly recommended with fantastic food. So many places to visit around here, nestled in-between the Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes you are really spoilt for choice. Thank you Derek we will be back! 🥰 Debbie and Richard xx
