The Bakery is a 2 bedroomed gite with a double bedroom and a bunk room. Both share a shower room. Lounge/kitchen/diner all in one with a wood burner fireplace. Full central heating. The gite is set in the countryside amongst orchards and pretty gardens with views over the valley. TV, DVD player, WiFi, full oven and hob, coffee maker, microwave and fridge freezer. We are in a small hamlet with direct access to a local footpath with scenic views. The remote house sits alone in the hills with no neighbors and has a garden with cherry, apple and walnut trees. Explore the lush green grasslands and charming French hamlets right from the driveway. The house is within easy reach of the Normandy beaches, national parks, castles and medieval cities. A basic retreat for lovers of nature and peace.

Le Vieux Fournil still has the original bread oven opening into the living space in this wonderfully quirky building. The kitchen and bathroom are housed in the original woodstore and pig sty and the bedroom is converted in the hayloft. The house is 2 km’s from the historic town of Lassay-les-Châteaux with its fortified medieval chateau., winding streets and gardens.
