Happy Valley

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Happy Valley is situated in the heart of the Normandy countryside at the end of a no-through road so no noisy passing traffic! It shares the site with our main home and 2 other gites. We're about 45 minutes from Mont St Michel; an hour from Bayeaux, Caen, Mayenne and Fougeres. It's another half an hour to the famous D-Day beaches. There are plenty of places to visit and things to do and of course lots of French markets and vide-greniers!

A charming cottage with a light stone exterior features a steeply pitched roof and decorative window detailing. Lush green grass surrounds the house, complemented by neatly trimmed shrubs and small potted plants near the entrance. A clear blue sky provides a serene backdrop.

Welcome to the 'Cosy Cross' which has been lovingly renovated into a stylish home in the idyllic Normandy countryside with beautiful rural views over the market town of Gavray. Welcome to our cabin! Passionate about interior design and DIY, we have put our hearts and souls into renovating this little house to make it a unique place, where every object tells a story. You will be 10 minutes from Mont-Saint-Michel, 30 minutes from Fougères and its famous castle, 45 minutes from Saint-Malo (the ramparts) and Dinard, Dinan, etc., and 30 minutes from Jullouville and Granville. 20 minutes from Saint James American Cemetery.

The two-story house features a stone facade combined with a light-colored upper section. A gravel pathway leads to the entrance, framed by a small area of lawn. Large trees and green fields are visible in the background under a clear blue sky.
