Manish Cottage is such a lovely, homely place to stay. Everything about it was idyllic. Our weather was a bit wet! but it was lovely to return each evening to the warmth and cosiness of the cottage. The decor was gorgeous and everywhere was spotless. The setting was perfect at the side of the Loch and we had the local sheep and geese to keep us company! We would definitely recommend staying in Manish Cottage..it was beautiful ❤️

We had a great time at Janice's cottage. It's spacious and really well set up for guests. Very comfy mattresses, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a home away from home. Loved the local history books and recommendations in the info folder. Be prepared for a windy (not as in blowy) road to get to the property. Not too far from the fabulous beaches of Luskentyre etc. we enjoyed some live music at the Harris Hotel and found it a great spot for adventuring. Cottage was warm and showers were grand. Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Also - Janice literally went the extra mile(s) to meet us in Tarbert when she realised we'd left a laptop behind!! we had a lovely week at crook cottage. The surroundings are so beautiful and the cottage itself cozy and comfortable with everything we needed to feel at home. The beaches at Luskintyre and Huisnis are stunning.

Jonathan was an excellent host. Communication around the booking was clear and it was easy to find the bothy and check in. Situated in Stockinish, a small fishing village on the south of the island, and nestled between hilly rocks, we felt completely isolated (only seeing a couple of people for the whole trip duration) and lucky to have such an amazing landscape virtually to ourselves. The road to the bothy was easily accessible from the main road, and is only a short distance from lovely beaches and amenities in Tarbert. The bothy did not disappoint. Cozy and beautifully decorated, it was well heated and was the perfect place to retreat to after a day exploring the island. I would really recommend staying here, especially in the offseason!
