The house is located in a small village between Ghent and Bruges. The home is just next to our home. There is total privacy. There is a separate entrance , a small terrace at the entrance. The lower floor consists of a spacious living room with salon and TV. For third person there is a full bed in the living room. There is an equipped kitchen with fridge, oven and microwave and dining table. There is a toilet on the ground floor . On the first floor there is a bedroom with bathroom with sink, shower and toilet.

d' Oude Smidse is een gastenverblijf in Zuienkerke tussen het historisch stadscentrum van Brugge en de Belgisch kust. Wij verhuren onze net gerenoveerde schuur van 100 m2 met 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, een leefruimte met kitchenette. Gasten krijgen het hele jaar door privé toegang tot de sauna en jacuzzi. Het privé verwarmd buitenzwembad is open van Mei tot September. Ontbijt is niet inbegrepen maar kan bijgeboekt worden. Het gastenverblijf is altijd volledig privé voor 1 groep of koppel.

The house is fully equipped and offers a beautiful base to discover cities such as Bruges and Ghent. The sea is also half an hour's drive away. Within cycling distance is Philippine, known for its cosy mussel restaurants. Furthermore, there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes in the immediate vicinity. In addition to its unique location, it is above all very quiet to stay with lots of greenery and offers an excellent base for cycling or hiking in the beautiful Flemish Ardennes. The Market is located at 600m from house. There is a cozy sun terrace at the front. There are barely any cars in the street. It is very quiet, making it great for breakfast on the terrace in the morning.

The cottage and swimming pool are located in our garden, overlooking the hills and our farm animals. The swimming pool is heated during the season (depending on weather conditions from May/June to September). Out of season, the swimming pool is accessible to the polar bears!

We have renovated this farmhouse and we are happy to provide our studio located on the floor of our house. We hope to offer you a cosy little cocoon. We will be happy to share our family life with you, with our two children Suzanne, 5 years old, Gustave, 10 years old, our cat Georgette and our chickens.
