Waterfront holiday rentals in Ghent

We stayed in the same apartment in 2023 and were looking forward to going back. We were not disappointed. If you want a city break in Gent, you couldn't find a better place.

Veronique’s place has wonderful view and it is very clean and cozy. She is super responsive and flexible. Check-in and check-out are very easy. Definitely would come back if I travel to Antwerp again.

Beautiful apartment, well-equipped kitchen, good beds and equipped with high chair and cot. The elevator was just a little small for our buggy. Katia's communication was fine. We received clear instructions and tips for restaurants in advance. The location is beautiful, close to the sea and from the window in the living room also a view of the sea!

Great host, great place, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Warm welcome from Patrick. We had a great time . The house is big and clean and located in a nice neighborhood! Many restaurants within walking distance and beautiful terraces on the water. We highly recommend this listing .

The apartment is located in a new residential area. The beach is quickly and easily accessible. The center of Oostende can be reached by ferry, by car or by bus. Unfortunately, there is still no baker in the immediate vicinity (but one is supposed to open soon). The nearest supermarket is within walking distance (approx. 15 minutes) or by car. Due to the fact that the entire residential area is still partly under construction, you have to expect construction noise during the week. The apartment is very well equipped and you immediately feel comfortable and at home. Everything was very clean and tidy. The beds are new and the bedrooms were also cozy and clean. The shower is new, ground level and large. The open plan kitchen is rather small, but good and equipped with everything. There is a nice balcony. The existing shops and restaurants are upscale. Unfortunately, we only had 4 days, but we enjoyed this time very much. We can definitely recommend this apartment.

This apartment is perfect for exploring the historic centre of Antwerp. Beds (and the whole flat) were very comfortable. Pieter was prompt and helpful when we had questions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the sea, thanks to Claire who is a very welcoming host, and her apartment which is perfectly located. The big plus is parking too. For us it was a great value for money

A beautiful guest house located in the outskirts with fantastic views. A very well kept and clean accommodation we were truly impressed. The guest house boasts of a lovely good size open plan lounge and kitchen area with access to private back garden with full use of sofa and outdoor table and chairs. The house was clean on arrival, and we loved that they had a range of toys for my children that were made full use of - So sending a huge thanks to the couple for that! The kitchen had lots to offer a space to cook and relax. A fully functioning electric hob/ dishwasher and fire pit (super easy to use). Good size beds in both rooms and my kids slept well. We travelled to Ghent and Bruges via car which took no more than 35 mins. All in all fantastic location with beautiful landscapes, Jabbeke had many shops / bakeries / electric charging points near by. Thank you to Frederiek and Riet and for their warm welcome and for letting us stay at the beautiful guest house.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this nice cottage with beautiful views of the Scheldt. Everything was in tip top shape: the cottage is very nicely decorated, clean and equipped with everything you need. The view of the Scheldt is blissful, and the terrace is ideal for breakfast in the morning or enjoy in peace in the evening. The area is ideal for nice walks and bike rides, and the ferry is within walking distance. Bart and Eefje are super friendly and welcoming hosts. We felt right at home. They provide clear information in a useful folder, which makes the stay extra pleasant. A top stay that we definitely recommend!

Our annual family weekend was another success, thanks in part to this lovely house. Very spacious and comfortable. We made trips to the Kalmthoutse heath. Unfortunately, the Suske and Wiske museum was closed, we will come back again. But it was also wonderful in and around the house. Yummy roam the estate, Top!

It is a beautiful house with everything you could need. Easy to reach and in a nice area. Recommended!

Great stay in a beautiful house, all very nice and clean!

Thank you so much for the beautiful weekend with you! The house is newly renovated and comfortably furnished! The garden is very spacious with several seating areas. The immediate proximity to the beach is also nice! Glad to come back!

A one-night stopover perfect for a short break between two days of cycling . Not insignificant detail: our 4 bikes entered the entrance to the house .

We felt very comfortable in the house. It's even nicer than the photos show it. We would come back.

I had a fantastic stay at Carl’s place. The apartment is cozy, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. It’s located in a quiet area, just a short distance from the beach. There’s a great spot nearby for walking or jogging, and several excellent restaurants are only a 5-minute drive away. I would definitely return and stay there again!

Already the 2nd time as a guest - and as in previous years very nice!!!

I had such a lovely stay at Mylene's apartment, it's a great place to have the best of being beside the sea for some peace and the town a few minutes walk, tram stop behind the apartment too which was very handy! it's very comfortable, so we'll equipped too :) highly recommend you book in with Mylene if you are looking for accomodation in Belguim :)

We absolutely loved staying at Tine's place! Beautiful and clean! She was also very friendly and responsive as well. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

We stayed with Natasja for a weekend with 3 couples and 3 dogs. Location, apartment, neighborhood, cleanliness all spotless! We were welcomed with cookies, sparkling wine and a handwritten card, which was very happy :) Critics are just the much too soft and outlying mattresses as well as the slow WiFi. Nevertheless, 5 stars from us and we, if we find ourselves in Breskens again, will be back! Thanks Natasja.

Cozy studio with beautiful views and quiet location. Slept wonderfully in the comfortable sofa bed. Just a small disappointment when the requested bed and bath linen package was missing, but after a quick message, this was resolved in no time. Thanks Siska, it was lovely to stay in your lovely studio!

Had a great stay in Ostend partly thanks to Liesbeth's comfortably equipped apartment. It was very neat and clean and the house was equipped with every comfort. It is within walking distance of the city center and the private parking is a big plus in a busy city like Ostend. This apartment is worth 5 stars and on my next stay in Ostend I will not hesitate to choose her apartment again.
