Armenistis is the perfect location to base your holiday. You’ll need a hire car to get around but the town is well placed in the middle of the north coast. There are plenty of excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk and some nice local shops. The beaches nearby are also wonderful. The host was very attentive and helpful and the sea view from the apartment was lovely.

everything that has been said about Irini's and Fortis's hospitality and kindness is absolutely true. it comes from their hearts. they were generous with their time and included us in their holy week preparations and Easter celebrations. These were rare privileges for a mere travellor. There are not enough words to describe how much we were blessed by them. Irini's airbnb is lovely and well equipped. She also gave us her homemade red wine, olives, apricot jam, fig jam, homemade tomato juice for cooking, olive oil from her own farm etc. we cooked many a meal there. the people of karavostamo is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. this was truly a holiday that is unlike any other we had. we are planning to come back again in a couple of years.

Annekathrin and Olivier's house is in a wonderful location for the tranquility and peace that make the stay a real treat for the spirit, it is also (in my opinion) strategic to visit the whole island. The interiors are cozy and clean, the house is equipped with everything you may need. Annekathrin and her husband are very kind hosts, communication with her has always been quick and her availability is endless. If I had to go back to Ikaria it would definitely be my choice and I would recommend everyone to try what was a wonderful experience for me. Thank you!
