Parking is available at the house. 300 meters from public transport - train and bus. In Gilleleje there are several restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Lovely renovated annex, decorated in the most beautiful style with sense down to the last detail. New kitchen with dining area. Double bed with small bedside tables. Two armchairs, a small table and a television. Chest of drawers for clothes and hanger bar with hangers. New toilet with shower and sheltered outside shower with cold and hot water. When you open the door from the annex, you will be greeted by the most beautifully enclosed flowering courtyard with several different sun hooks. Rent that extra room for more than 2 people is possible

In the opposite direction is Nakkehoved Lighthouse, with breathtaking views of land as well as towards Sweden. It is possible to borrow men's and women's bike, with gear. Older models!

It's 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances to go on a mushroom hunt or just go for a walk in the lovely nature. It is very common for the forest animals to go right outside the windows. For example, it could be deer, deer, and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. Summer April 1. - October 31. See eventually Vinter November 1. - March 31. The Black Cottage and orangery are parts of the historical place called Skippergaarden (Skipper´s Residence) Fabersvej 2c, in the old Gilleleje. Skipper´s Residence is built in 1797 with last remodeling done in 2003/4. The Black Cottage from 1892, when summer residents became popular. Last remodeling 2019/21. The orangery is from 2009. We have wi-fi and parking available.
