Shirley was a marvellous host - sharing info in good time prior to arrival & going out of her way to accommodate us arriving a little early. The flat itself was beyond expectations with a great layout & homely touches. Beautifully decorated & extremely comfortable with plenty of space. Light & clean with great windows overlooking the horse paddock & the views beyond. The beds were clean & comfy, a great shower in the bathroom & fab range in the kitchen where we enjoyed making meals each day. Our car sat nav originally led us the wrong way once we got to the village but Shirley’s description was spot on once we followed that. Freuchie is a small peaceful place & ideally located to go on day trips up the coast towards Crail & St Andrews or further up North past Perth up to Dunkeld. We enjoyed Falkland hill & going to the Pillars of Hercules organic farm shop & cafe nearby & would happily stay here again as it was a real home from home with fantastic features to make you feel relaxed.

We Loved this place. Byam clearly has a fun personality and it comes across in this place. if you're looking for a 5* hotel suite, this isn't for you. if you want somewhere clean comfortable and warm to use as a base for Edinburgh and Dundee, this is it. If you're musical there's even a guitar and piano, so you can create your own Ceilidh! Markinch is 'proper' Scotland. No twee shortbread tins or plastic Nessies here - just a proper bar, handy co-op, takeaways and a reputable butcher. Byam was ultra helpful for our stay. Just a nice place and a thoroughly decent host.

I had a great stay at Susan’s Airbnb! The space was comfortable, clean, and just as described. Check-in was super easy with the key lockbox, and all the instructions were clearly laid out in the welcome book, which made everything smooth. Highly recommend this place for a hassle-free and pleasant stay in and near Fife and Edinburgh. Thank You Susan !

We had a wonderful time in West Wemyss. The village is beautiful and Alison was a superb host. The apartment was very clean and had all amenities that you could wish for. We directly felt like at home. Communication was perfect. We can definitely recommend to stay here :-)
