When my mother’s nursing home got infected with COVID 19, I quickly reserved a trip to Chicago to just see her through the window because guests are not allowed in the nursing home. I had to drive 17 hours from the east coast to Chicago. Ms. Carrie agreed for me to arrive late and leave early to beat the Chicago traffic. I enjoyed having a peaceful place to rest during all of my stress. Plus Ms. Carrie's great book and art collection kept my mind from worrying about my mother's situation. I am going to buy the book on Jazz and other books that I read in her library while I was staying at Ms. Carrie’s place. What guests are saying:“The place was fine, it was easy to find, the parking was nice, and it was within walking distance to a few stores and markets still open during this time. The pictures are pretty accurate, and the back porch was by-far the best part. The whole place could have benefitted from some personal touches such as a blanket for the couch, or a kitchen towel, or some hooks on the back of the bathroom door to hang towels. Overall, it was a fine stay.”

The extra touches and provided amenities truly came in handy considering the circumstances, saved me multiple trips out. Great neighborhood also, everything you need is close.
