Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

Room in Recent House located a few minutes from the city center, on foot or by car according to your desires. The bedroom has a double bed (160 cm) located on the upper floor of the air-conditioned house with a private bathroom. On the ground floor: shared living room with TV, Wi-Fi. The Gite du Ruisseau is located in an isolated farmhouse in the heart of the Cévennes National Park. It consists of three different places: A main room. Kitchen and living room, a relaxation office room and a bedroom. A door gives access to the private terrace. You also have access to other terraces to share, as well as the stream where you can cool off.
