After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Welcome to the heart of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in Wildflecken! Located right at the foot of Kreuzberg, you can enjoy a great view from the attic to Lösershag and Kreuzberg. The modern and stylishly furnished apartment has two bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds as well as a bathroom with toilet and a separate toilet. The kitchen is also modern and well furnished. Very quietly located with forest and meadow of the Rhön right at your doorstep.

Our aim is to welcome guests with a dog as well as the ones without into a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The appartment is at the edge of Oberelsbach - ideally for hikes. Basic shopping is possible and there is a nice café, a gas station and a pharmacy. Hiking and Cycling trails start directly from the house. But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.

It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.
