Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. The house is in the middle of the village, close to the sea, swimming area, pizzeria and shop. Tunneberga guest house is across the road. Also close to the new Kattegattsleden, which has been designated as the European Cycle Route of the Year 2018. The Skåneleden hiking trail runs through the village. Close to Kullaberg. The house is 40 square meters and has a private bathroom and sauna. In the room, there is a sleeping alcove with two beds and a sofa that functions as a double bed. Kitchenette also available for cooking. Access to private patio with barbecue grill.

Esrum monastery, Søborg lake, Gilleleje, Helsinge, Gribskov etc. are within a maximum of 12 km. There are many activities in Gribskov municipality for all ages and interests
