We combine the reduced life in nature in a self-built, simple hut in a unique location on the edge of the forest with modern design. We are not a professional hotel business. The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margrave's Palace Schreez.

The apartment is located in a former Franconian farm, on the edge of the forest in the most beautiful area of Franconian Switzerland. There are 2 separate apartments in Engelschanze, but they can also be booked as a unit for 8-10 people. The large garden can be used by all guests. It extends over the adjacent forest, where there is also a hammock for general use. Each apartment has its own separate terrace with a view.
