Located 30 minutes from Geelong CBD and 1 hour 45 mins from Melbourne CBD, it is also accessible by Ferry via Sorrento and Queenscliff or the new Portarlington to Docklands Ferry, with Portarlington only a 15 minute drive around the bluff. Our family home is a 50m walk to the beach over the road, and a 1.3km walk along a trail to the town centre.

Our beautiful home is directly opposite the beach in the heart of historic Barwon Heads. Ballara #8 incorporates a fully restored heritage-listed 'boathouse' and features a pleasing outlook over the river with glimpses of the Port Philip Heads and the Pt Lonsdale Lighthouse. Ideal for families with an outdoor BBQ / dining area and heated plunge pool (both under cover). This house is a wonderful place to stay summer or winter, with gas log fire and airconditioning in the upstairs living area.

Also features a second bathroom including laundry facilities, as well as an open plan living and dining area, kitchen, and private, covered deck, with BBQ available on request. This is a very clean & spacious self-contained bungalow with kitchen, ensuite and lounge area. Beds provided are 1 Queen, 1double sofa & 1 single. It is set on a private, shared hectare property with private access and access to a solar-heater pool and tennis court. While we are here if you need anything, we respect your space and privacy. The property location is walking distance to Blue Waters Lake,Barwon River Estuary, local cafes, Boat ramp and Ocean Grove beach.
