Lovely wee cottage with great opportunities to see wildlife on the doorstep, and perfectly situated to explore North & South Uist and islands close by. The cottage was really clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The beaches on the islands were incredibly beautiful and we had some great food at nearby restaurants. Willie was always very responsive and helpful, we would not hesitate to book Strome cottage again.

A very lovely property. I enjoyed my stay very much. Centrally located and situated for amenities and day trips to the other island. Rory is an excellent host. I would recommend this property to anyone!

We had a wonderful week at Niall's place! It was immaculately clean and looks tasteful and modern, with lots of room to move about. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed including the basics of salt, pepper, herbs, tea and coffee etc. which I always appreciate. Towels were fluffy and it was nice to be able to control the heating so it was just right for us. Finally the surroundings are super pretty - lovely sunsets and views of ponds and into the distance, very peaceful and private. The garden and washing line made things easier for us with wetsuits etc. and parking is easy with plenty of space. Thanks Niall!

Very comfortable, well equipped, homely cottage. Had everything we needed for a stay on Uist with our large dog. Great location to travel across each of the islands. Loved the beaches - our favourite was Liniclate. Loved the cosy, friendly cafes - our favourite was the Oystercatcher bakery - though everywhere we visited was super friendly and allowed dogs. The cottage had a great view onto a small loch and was surrounded by farmers fields on nearly 3 sides - loads of lambs too.
