This home was was the perfect place to call home during our stay. Absolutely beautiful, comfortable with the most amazing back yard and enclosed patio. Great place to enjoy coffee, tea and conversation. The piano was a treat as we had musicians with us. Here for a family reunion with just about everyone born and raised in Manchester before jetting off to different parts of the globe, it provided a central place to visit, relax and connect. The highline trail is a hop skip and a jump away! Beautiful area to explore. Virginia was a fabulous host. You feel love here.

if i could give 100 stars i would! my friend and I came for a peaceful retreat but we left with so much encouragement and new friends. Tom was ready with local recommendations and was accommodating to our needs! Kate was such a joy and the pinnacle hospitality. these are people we want in our lives forever! when we are back in the area they will be our first call!!

What a wonderful place! It’s beautiful inside and outside, and filled with history and art. Evan is a perfect host, friendly, attentive to details, communicative, and thoughtful. He is an amazing cook and even made our breakfasts vegan after we told him our diet was plant based. I was there on my birthday and he put a birthday candle in my breakfast on that day! The room we stayed in was very comfortable and had a fireplace and a tub with jets which was so nice to come back to in winter. Everything was clean and you can tell he has thought about everything needed to make guests comfortable. He is a dog lover as well and has two sweet dogs that we were happy to meet. We had our dog with us and the property is nice to walk around with the dog and beautiful even in winter and there are plenty of places nearby to hike or walk. This was one of the best air bnb’s we have stayed in. We loved the place and felt so welcomed and will definitely be back. Don’t hesitate to book this plac

Lynn’s home was the perfect place to spend New Year’s Eve with our family. The house was very clean and cozy, beds were comfortable, and the views of the water were absolutely stunning. The outdoor furniture was also super cute and comfy. Lynn also let us checkout a little later, which was such a nice treat. We’ll definitely come back when we get the opportunity. Libby's place returned me to the original mission of airbnb which I had long missed; connecting travellers with homestay hosts, conversations of shared experiences and special places, beautiful accommodations and surroundings and the unexpected but delightful beginning to new found relationships. So, beyond the need for a place for a traveler to stay, you can leave with special memories.

I cannot say enough good things about my week long stay! I got off a long travel and had EVERYTHING I needed. The amenities the space it was all perfect. Even my puppy dog was taken care of with a comfortable bed and bowls out when we arrived! Literally the best Airbnb stay I’ve had. Would recommend to anyone.

Margie’s place is an amazing hidden gem. The inside is very clean and comfortable. The outside is an experience of its own. The lake will drop your blood pressure immediately. Gorgeous surroundings. The dogs are friendly and lovable. We will be back! 👍🏼

This place was as described. I wouldn’t change my rating for these 2 things but…the location is really too far from Mystic to casually walk there. Also the home is very close to a major highway and the noise was pretty loud and did keep me up at night. Not a deal breaker but if you need quiet to sleep it’s a consideration! The space was clean and comfortable and Susan is very communicative! Very nice that she stocks the kitchen with necessities for breakfast including some delicious homemade muffins!

This was a lovely air B&B, in a beautiful, quiet location, yet close to the town of Niantic (10 minute, easy drive), as well as gorgeous regional parks. We had a wonderful stay here, and our host made everything easy and clear. The suite was fresh-feeling and very clean. Kitchen area was well-supplied and exactly as described. Linens and bed felt like hotel. We had glorious weather, and with the special “perk” of kayaks on-site, we went up the adjacent tidal estuary twice, and were treated to osprey fishing, kingfishers on the banks, cormorants and ducks, a bluebird(!), herons and egrets, and peace and quiet. What a spot! We also got to explore Niantic, with a sunset meal on a restaurant deck, overlooking the water. We walked, biked, and hiked in several parks around the area, with gorgeous beaches, wetlands, and woodlands. Thanks to the location, I think we saw the best of this area, which we'd never been to before. Plus we discovered the renowned bakery/cafe, Sift. Perfect!

Airbnb was perfect distance to many of the attractions. Joanne left many amazing recommendations for restaurants and attractions that we added many stops to our weekend trip. Apartment was cozy, clean and on a very peaceful area.

We stayed during fall and were able to take advantage of the fire pit. There was plenty of kindling to gather nearby and the fire under the stars was very peaceful. It was starting to get chilly during our stay and the log space heater was a very nice touch. Guest book includes a number of helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. A lot of small extra touches made our stay very comfortable. We would recommend for anyone wanting a more rural feel away from the other tourists while exploring mystic.

Easy and simple place to stay

Thank you Jennifer and Patty for sharing such a lovely space! Finding the location of the BnB, as well as our check-in process went very smoothly. Patty, who helped us throughout our stay, showed us to our very clean and spacious room while sharing some recommendations for the area. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy Charlestown and beyond, supporting local businesses (bars, restaurants, and bait shop to rent kayaks) along the way. She even let us borrow some beach chairs! The bnb is quiet and charming, a perfect getaway for couples and families alike. So grateful for their hospitality, hope to visit soon :)

What a treat! I grew up in Madison and didn’t realize this amazing bed and breakfast was right under my nose! Michael was incredibly friendly and helpful and the space was fantastic. I will absolutely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful space, central location and delicious breakfast!

We had the most lovely stay at Andrea’s place. Had the two-room suite with our adult daughter. It was like stepping back in time - the charm, quaintness of the cottages. No tv/wifi. Check. Ocean view. Check. Delish breakfast delivered each morning. Check. This place is an absolute gem!! Bonus - location. Surrounded by Gilded Age hotel and buildings with rolling lawn where we had drinks in Adirondacks listening to live music outdoors. Block Island is stunning as well - bluffs, beaches, unspoiled land, ponds. Just a perfect stay!! Andrea, Robin and staff were the best. Huge thank you!!

Cathy’s Inn is the perfect spot to experience the charm of the CT shoreline. Most of the inn was built in the 1700s, but you have access to a nice updated bathroom. The furnishings are lovely. Best of all, however, is Cathy, the host. She’s a lot of fun and very easy to talk to. I have stayed with her several times, and will continue to do so.

I absolutely love Jan and Tom’s place. It was clean, cozy and the location/view is beautiful! They went above and beyond to make our trip comfortable- providing recommendations, breakfast, and answering any questions we had. I definitely recommend this place - I will come back and stay for sure!
