Monthly Rentals in Gruinard Island

We loved staying at Andrew and Debora's nostalgic Bedstee. It is obvious that it has been a labour of love creating this delightful space full of such charm. After a full day's activities out and about it was so lovely to return to the Bedstee just to enjoy the warmth of the wood heater and to gaze out over the loch. it is a peaceful place and perfect for unwinding reading books and playing board games. It is so quiet that all you hear is birdsong. The kitchen area works well and the bathroom is great with plenty of hot water on continuous heating. The alcove bed, reminiscent of the traditional style used in croft houses, was such fun and we slept very well. Andrew and Debora are great hosts - fully available to help if help is needed yet at the same time they totally respected our privacy. We would come to stay again in a heartbeat! A wonderful little bothy to stay in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Peaceful with lovely views and lots of beautiful birds to watch in the garden!

Stunning location and very well equipped for a couple with a dog. Perfect if you enjoy beach and mountain days and amazing views if you fancied a day on the sofa. Well stocked village shop within walking distance. Options for eating out will vary depending on time of year but the well equipped kitchen has everything you might need to cook and there's a couple of takeaways in Gairloch. plenty of coastal and mountain walk options within 30 mins of the house to suit all abilities. A perfect stay and we hope to be back.

The location as well as the view of the property are perfect and incredibly beautiful. Everything was super clean and maintained. Gareth was a great host and always available. We were very happy about the homemade banana bread as a welcome! We highly recommend the place.
