Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gulf Islands

Wilson’s place was perfect for our group of old friends and young children to get together and spend quality time together. There are so many things for all ages to do throughout the day on the large property to keep you busy. Our days were very fun filled without the need to go anywhere else. The ocean view over the bluff is spectacular, with many different seating areas set up to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in the surroundings. Wilson was proactive and responsive with clear and detailed instructions. Check in and check out were very easy and the place was exactly as advertised - 10/10 would stay again!

Large place, location is near amenities, easy drive to other areas, friendly hosts with clear and prompt communication. This is our go-to stay in Nanaimo.

We visited Lopez Island for a quick weekend away and are so happy we chose Linnea’s place. The house was very charming and included everything we need while there. Its location was perfect (right in the heart of the village so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops). Also, the bed upstairs that we slept in was VERY comfy. Highly recommend. Our stay at the Dogwood was wonderful. Isabelle treated us with a yummy welcome gift to her clean bright comfy home with all the amenities we could ask for. We loved the openness of the space as well as the fireplace and hot tub. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to our requests. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Nicole’s place was just as described with all the amenities one would need. The surroundings are beautiful, can get a good view of the mountains on a sunny day. We even spotted a deer right outside the house. The yard is huge, our fur babies enjoyed running around. Nicole was very responsive and helpful.

We had a birthday celebration during our stay and everyone fit very comfortably. We cooked together and had ample room to play fishbowl in the living room. The sunsets are amazing! The property had a walking path and was well groomed. The front yard was completely fenced in so our pups were safe to hang out. It is a great location - close to the grocery store any other amenities you need as well as recreational activities . We will definitely stay there again when we visit the PNW again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan's place. This is a beautiful, very clean and nicely furnished sun-filled home. The setting and views were wonderful, quiet and peaceful. It was nice to have nearby hiking trails, and easy accessibility to the rest of the island. Thank you for the nice stay!

Billie’s place was the perfect spot for a trip to Salt Spring Island. Really appreciated the welcome, orientation of the suite and local recommendations. I’d love to stay again and will definitely recommend!

My family of four stayed at Nyna's to attend a wedding over the Labour Day long weekend and enjoy some relaxation time at Rathtrevor Beach. The cabin had an absolutely perfect location for our purposes. It is an easy 20-minute walk to the beach, but we also drove to Rathtrevor whenever the kids insisted on bringing an excessive number of toys to play in the sand. The cabin itself was exactly as described and pictured. We were not entirely sure of our check-in time due to needing to pick up supplies on our way to the cabin, but Nyna still stuck around to welcome us in person upon our arrival and give us a personal tour of the place. She was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We would highly recommend her place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you, Nyna!

This is an amazing spot to spend some time with your significant other. The hottub was private and functioning. 10/10 would stay again.

I really enjoyed staying in this creative airbnb. The container itself is stunning in the pictures and even more beautiful in person. The artwork inside is awesome to see throughout the interior. Lauren is a great host and very attentive to detail on everything we may need. My daughter made a comment, that these guys really think about anything you might of have forgot. We brought our puppy and he loved the yard for his zoomies. Thank you for great stay, it was a memorable stay.

The hosts were amazing, the pictures of the place was beautiful but once you get to the location it is even a more beautiful place. My family and I loved the stay. It’s just an amazing experience for everyone.

Such a beautiful place to stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very responsive to any questions we had. The neighbourhood is private and quiet, and the suite was even more beautiful than the pictures. The view from the living room is so beautiful, the kitchen is spacious and has any dishes or utensils you could ever think of. The beds were clean and comfortable, ample towels for showers, hot tub, and pool days! A fantastic place to stay, especially if you’re planning on a larger group vacation. We would definitely come back here again in the future, can’t say enough great things.

Johanna was a wonderful, friendly, and extremely communicative host. Our family had a great time staying at her home. It felt cozy and was well stocked. She was super helpful and responsive when we messaged. The home was as described and has a great layout in a quiet area. The resort drive area is fantastic and close to everything. Parksville is such a great location with lots to do. Highly recommend Johanna’s home to stay at. We had an adventure packed and relaxing stay. Looking forward to our next trip.

We had a lovely weekend away from the hussle and bussle of our busy lives!! ... We had a private deck to enjoy any time of the day, to look out onto their lovely yard, often while reading our books, or quietly catching up to date with our family!! .. Stephanie and Rory were very accomodating with both our check in, and check out times, and there to answer any questions we had: which were very, very few!! .... we would be happy to return another time, if their availability, and our schedules, mesh, and wouldhappily recommend their place to others.

Wanda was an amazing host with one of the most beautiful and well kept properties we have seen. She was unbelievably accommodating and had the most lovely energy. We really enjoyed how spacious the cottage was, as well as all of the amenities — such as the well stocked kitchen and the thoughtful touches placed throughout the house. The gardens were extremely beautiful and she provided a propane tank for us when we decided to use the grill. We felt very welcome and loved the company of her dog dusty as well 💕 we would absolutely return for a serene getaway again!

Great little cabin in the woods outside of Port Townsend. It’s a quiet and peaceful spot, and the cabin had everything we needed.

Bill and Shelley’s place is one of the most well stocked and welcoming places we’ve stayed. We planned to stay for a month to be close to the hospital whilst we waited for our baby to arrive and they had everything we could have ever needed for a long time stay. They left us a lovely note and some goodies and the suite felt just like home. The location is super quiet and private and their back garden is beautiful. Bill and Shelley were also very responsive and very accommodating when we had to cut our stay significantly due to baby arriving early. First class accommodation and hosts!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect for our weekend getaway: cozy, well-equipped with everything we needed, and located in a peaceful, quaint area. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and exploring nearby walks and beaches. Mitzi was super friendly and responsive—highly recommend!
