Monthly Rentals in Halemaumau Crater

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this cabin a lot. It is located close to the Vulcanoe National Park. Be ware, that this is a very remote location. There are no neigbours or shops nearby. I enjoyed the hot shower outside. The toilet outside was also a new experience, however, the mosquitos may be annoying. A small kitchen is available in the basement of Jessies house, 150 m walk through the garden. Jessie and Tom are very nice and helpful.

Perfect spot to come back to after a day of adventuring the Volcano National Park. Close to park entrance. Clean, safe space. Had all basic necessities to cook. Would stay here again.

We had an incredible stay in Volcano, Hawaiʻi! The home was cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect peaceful retreat after a day of exploring Volcanoes National Park (which was just minutes away). The host was welcoming, responsive, and provided thoughtful touches throughout the home—everything from local guidebooks to fresh coffee. We especially loved sipping our morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the sounds of nature. If you’re looking for a serene, unique experience close to the park, this is the place. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect spot for our family when we visited Valcanoes National Park. My kids particularly enjoyed the loft area. It was a quick and easy drive to restaurants and most importantly to the park.
