Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Haliburton County

We had a wonderful stay here. The outdoor space was picturesque and the indoor space was equally as nice. The complimentary parks pass and proximity to Algonquin was a huge bonus. We only wished we had stayed longer :)

This is a great place to stay. The inside is beautiful, super clean and great place to hang out in. Beds are comfortable. Washrooms are nice, clean and have what you need. Kitchen is well stocked, nice to cook in. Common area is very comfortable and the wood burning stove is a great touch. The outside property is super private and an amazing place to walk around. The fire pit is a great way to pass the time. Although we did not end up using the hot tub, it looked very clean. If you’re looking to get away and relax, stay here.

We stayed at Arsh’s place for 2 nights and it was so nice to be able to get away from home but also feel right at home! She was so responsive and helpful. 10/10 recommend! Will definitely be back.

A wonderful cottage on a very peaceful lake.

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

Place was very equipped with everything you need to a perfect getaway from the city. Extra blankets and sheets. Host was quick and very friendly with her responses. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to just kick back and relax

Amazing place! Felt like staying in a tree house. The cottage lives up to the photos. Did I mention we were welcomed with a bottle of wine? ☺️.

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

The place was great. Compared to the photos it seemed larger. It looked very good! We had lunch at the Mill Pond, a local suggested restaurant and enjoyed it. Warren

Everything was great from beginning to end. Easy to check-in and everything was just as the pictures showed. The view was incredible and the weather couldn't have been better. Wilhelmina was very quick to respond to any questions and Tim who is the site manager was very friendly and helpful. Definitely looking forward to returning again soon!

Absolutely great place, the views are amazing, so much to do, the grounds are kept so beautiful and the inside or the Airbnb was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely recommend it

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! A private cozy place in the lap of nature. You will see a lot of deers around as this place is right beside a jungle. The calmness and serenity of the place surely helps to rewind and a very good place to spend your cozy time. Would surely recommend this place. Thank you Jo.

Wonderful place to stay

We loved our stay here! The house was spotless and had everything we could’ve needed and more. The dock and watercrafts were our favourite daytime spot, and the dining table was perfect for groups games in the evenings. We didn’t get to use the fire pits but there were two of them! We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed here for two nights. While the cottage is older, it was very clean and well-maintained. The location offers great access to the lake with stunning views, but it's quite close to the main road, so you might hear some traffic noise. There are two canoes available, allowing you to explore the lake, which was a fantastic experience. The cottage has six queen beds, but the mattresses are quite soft, so if you have back issues, they may not be the most comfortable. The host was very responsive and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Cynthia and Steve truly went above and beyond to make both my fiancé and me feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. They made sure everything was taken care of for our entire weekend stay, anticipating any needs we might have and being incredibly accommodating. The cabin itself was an absolute gem – cozy, warm, and exactly as described, offering the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. We had such a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning next year!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Krista she is very kind, responsive and proactively checked us to make sure everything is fine with out any problem. her place is very beautiful, has stunning river side view as well as warm and cozy nest that you can get relaxed and enjoy the beautiful nature. also , any amenities and needs that makes your stay more enjoyable, is available there! so do not worry! you absolutely enjoy staying there. we recommend to stay there at least 2 night! thank you krista for your warm hospitality!

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.
