Family-friendly holiday rentals in Hanalei

We loved our stay here. The house was great, large enough for our family to spread out, easy walk to the beach and provided beach chairs & toys which were very helpful. Had all the accommodations that we needed including highchair and toys for the grandkids. Each room had an air conditioning unit except for the master bath and office area off of the master bath. The weather was unusually hot and humid for this time of year, so we were glad to have it. Kitchen was well equipped and had almost everything we needed to cook several meals. Also, enjoyed the local restaurants. Definitely need to make reservations a month ahead of time if you want prime dinner time. Enjoyed the welcome box of chocolate macadamia nuts too. Great local recommendations and very pleasant host.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of sunrise. Spacious, well stocked condo. Appreciated welcome goody basket filled with Hawaiian treats. Make sure to read instructions on how to open door. The downstairs living area does not have AC. We were there in early January and it was bearable but I think we would have been too hot in summer. The bedrooms were very comfortable with portable AC units. Management had very good and clear communication. We were worried about the nearby construction but we only heard them one morning around 8 as we were getting ready to leave for the day so it never bothered us but if you want to sleep in on weekdays, it might bother you. There is a public trail out back but the lanai is higher so you only see the people when you are sitting outside. Lots of people hike by at sunrise and sunset to see the view you get from the lanai in your PJs! Overall great convenient location and would definitely stay again!

Sarah and her co-host Dana are incredible people and great communicators who provide a great space to be able to explore Kauai. I highly recommend Sarah’s place. It is comfortable, clean and has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Just don’t reserve it when I want to stay there, lol! 😉🌺🦋

This condo was a great place to stay in Princeville! It was clean, well equipped and in a great location! It was also super nice to have the pool within such a short walking distance, and loads of beach gear for guests to use. They had beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, toys and even a wagon, which was great for a family with small kids. A couple of things I didn’t realize before booking: you have to request a pack and play ahead of time for an extra fee (the listing had it on the amenities list so I assumed it was always just in the condo for guest use) and the washing machine is extremely loud, like sounds like an airplane taking off loud, so start the load when you’re going out for the day or won’t mind the excessive noise. Other than those two minor things this was an awesome condo that I would recommend.

This is an awesome place! The private cottage on Bruce's Pineapple farm made our vacation stay extra special in so many ways. It was a real treat to be away from the condo crowds and yet still able to easily get around to various beaches, shops, and restaurants. The local beaches are stunning, and a real treat to enjoy being so close to the farm. Bruce is super attentive with communication and offered many useful tips on places to go, how to get there, and things not to miss. This was one of the most important things for us, and his pineapple farm tour was also a special treat. We all know how many hours it takes to research the right place to stay, so if you are contemplating his place, look no further! I am already planning when we can return to spend more time here. We had a great time here! We loved the location next to the Grand Hyatt and all that they have to offer. You can walk to shipwreck beach 5-10 min. Geralyn was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay. it was hard for us to find a place last minute that would accommodate 7 guests. this place worked out great it's just the right amount of beds. if you are looking to stay in Poipu/Koloa this is a great option. We loved all the beach gear available for use in the garage. Very convenient. Hope to be back again sometime in the future.

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Angela’s place! She is an amazing host, responding to messages within minutes and making sure everything was perfect for our stay. The place was spotless, with all bathroom amenities provided and a clean, fully equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the massage chair—it was absolutely heavenly after a long day! The location is also great, just a 10-minute walk to the beach, and the pools on-site were lovely. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend! 🌟

After an almost 20 hour day of travel, stepping into our AirBnB was a breath of fresh air. The unit itself is cozy and relaxing with a beautiful view that backs up to the golf course just across the way. Location proximity to a variety of beaches, both walkable and a short drive, was heavily appreciated after days spent hiking in the warm Hawaiian sun. Having the porch door open at night to let in a cool breeze was the best way to wind down for the evening. I would happily return to Annie's and Greg's condo the next time we visit Kaua'i.

This unit is perfect for anyone who like peace and quiet , safety , many options for beaches and state parks especially ha’ena state park for the beautiful Nepali coast and Kalalau trail. The trail shuttle can pick you up at Princeville Makai Golf course at 7:30am and 9:30am everyday! If you’re camping that also means no camping reservation over night parking required for a rental car ( those are like winning a lottery ticket ) Anne and Greg are responsive to anything we asked for, they provide all the basics of a kitchen with a studio priced for at least a 3 day stay minimum, we enjoyed our time there and the bed is so comfortable it was truly difficult to get up! Television equipped with all apps so you can log into your Netflix and Paramount +, coffee maker for that great Hawaiian coffee ( bounds coffee grinder ) only thing missing was a French press but I bet if we asked it would have been provided. Beach towels beach chairs body boards etc ( you get the picture ) loved it,

We had a wonderful experience while staying at this property. Cash was quick to respond to questions, and offered many useful suggestions of places to go or eat. It was a quiet environment, with outstanding views of the western sky, and beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The space offered any amenity needed and was as described. Thank you to a wonderful host.

We loved staying at this location. It was clean, easy to find and the view was beautiful! The home was well stocked with things we needed, beach chairs, towels for the pool and beach and cooking supplies. I would definitely recommend and will be staying here again when I come to Kauai.

My husband and I have stayed in these Condos/Hotel in the past and fell in love with it our first trip to Kaua’i. We had to come back and luckily found it a lot cheaper on Airbnb. We also thought the unit through Airbnb was even nicer. The bed was unbelievably comfortable! The pool and hot tubs are amazing, fun, and refreshing, especially after hiking all day. The location is also perfect for exploring the island because you are right in the middle. There is a convenient grocery, Starbucks and Rosses you can walk to across the street. Tons of restaurants with impressively good food. If we come back to Kaua’i again, we wouldn’t change where we stayed.

This was the best AirBnB that we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend the place. Great host, great location, great amenities in the area, and a must stay place for families.

The view alone is worth the stay here, but I also really enjoyed the short walk around the corner to the lava arch, which is a very cool rock bridge with huge waves crashing up against/under it. There is also a trail that takes you along the coast to shipwreck beach which is a lovely walk/run, and Poipu beach is very walkable too. The space was really comfortable - we were grateful for the AC and king size bed and spaciousness- not sure if it was the waves or having the bedroom at the end of the hallway but we often didn't even hear our kids up before us in the morning. Loved having the loft for kids and so many bathrooms. The pool was perfect for small kids and there was never anyone using the grill. We really loved Kōloa town near by- super cute area with everything you could want- coffee, ice cream, shave ice, brewhouse, tacos, small grocery, musubi/poke truck. The condo had plenty of supplies to make it a beautiful comfortable place that we really enjoyed coming back to.

I really like this condo! I nearly missed it due to one low star review, so I’ll be very honest to help other guests. If you’re very very fussy on hygiene, you may want to choose Sheraton resort who has very clean carpets but a small room. I’m picky at cleanness too and I think here is clean enough to stay comfortable. The furniture and decorations bear some marks of time, but still very stylish and lovely. Here in the yard you can see whales, turtles and sunsets with little birds. You could enjoy sounds of tides in one bedroom or enjoy quietness in the other bedroom. You will have plenty plenty plenty of space here! I also met a power outage once, but it came back very soon. I was watching whales and I found out when the neighbor came out and asked. When I was texting the host, the electricity just came back on. I think if you stay here, you could not only trust the host but also the office here. Their stuff work hard on maintenance like pest control and cleaning bbq area.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Chris’s place. It’s so convenient to everything. He was communicative and went out of his way to send us activities to do or advice about be the island. Loved being so close to the beach! Highly recommend walking over to “Baby Beach” for the day - much more private and small.
