Cottage holiday rentals in Hankasalmi

The place was a bit tricky to find but a nice man pointed us to the right house. Likely, we weren't the first 😅 The instruction manual was only in Finnish which was a bit tricky. Otherwise the place was amazing, very well situated. It was a pitty that the sauna was outside but it wasn't a problem. Shame that the heater couldn't get the sauna reasonably hot to about 90°C. It could also use a thermometer. The hot tub didn't work during our stay but Salla was quick to resolve it with a refund. We were 2 couples there which wasn't ideal but 2 people with children will have a great stay there. There were enough means to get yourself warm - sauna, floor heating, fireplace and AC. The place has no WiFi. The terrace has quite a drop to the ground - no issue for us because we created stairs from snow but during summer it must be a big drop.

Oikein kiva mökki. Pohjaratkaisu järkevä. Yhteydenpito omistajan kanssa erittäin sujuvaa. Vaikka toinen mökki ihan vieressä, ei se haitannut yhtään. Aijon varata uudestaan kun tilaisuus tulee. Jos pitäisi jotain miinusta löytää, niin suihkun vettä ei saanut tarpeeksi lämpöselle, oli kyllä suht lämmin mutta itse tykkään enempi kuumista suihkusta. :)

Ihan mökki metsän rauhassa, ei naapureita lähellä. Sauna erinomainen. Kauniit maisemat.

Ei mitään valittamista. Viihtyisä kohde viihtyisässä ympäristössä. Viestintä majoittajan kanssa oli nopeaa ja mutkatonta.

Super cozy mökki in a calm and gorgeous place, perfect for Juhannus! The lake was great for swimming, the wood sauna was super nice, and even though you feel like you are in the middle of the woods, the grocery store is super close by. Seija is super nice and the communication went well. Me and my friends (7 people and a dog) had an amazing time so I would definitely recommend this place!

Vietimme mukavan viikonlopun mökillä! Todella rauhallinen paikka eikä hyttysistä ollut riesaa. Rannan grillikatos on todella tunnelmallinen. Saunalle ja rannan terassille hyvät pisteet! Kirkasvetinen järvi ja ranta erittäin matala ja hitaasti syvenevä. Viestintä oli sujuvaa isännän kanssa.

Viikolla erittäin rauhallinen, viikonlopuksi läheiset mökitkin vilkastuivat. Puhdasvetinen järvi, joka houkutteli uimaan joka päivä. Mökillä oli kaikki tarvittavat mukavuudet ja etätyön tekemiseen loistavat puitteet. Mukavuuksista huolimatta kesämökkitunnelma oli onnistuttu säilyttämään hienosti. Oivalliset puitteet rentoon olemiseen luontoa seuraten. Nurkan takaa löytyivät sienet aterioiksi ja marjat jäliruuaksi. Pihapiirissä hyppelivät viitasammakkolapsukaiset, järvellä saalisti kuikkaperhe ja pihassa piipahtivat pikkulintujen lisäksi myös palokärkiperhe ja lehtopöllö! Myös joutsenperhe kävi esittäytymässä. Luonnonläheinen, mukava kesämökkiympäristö. Suosittelen lämpimästi rauhaa ja luontoa arvostaville.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus. Wirklich tolle Lage mit Blick über den See. Der See ist tief und sauber - ideal zum schwimmen und boot fahren. Originales finnisches mökki Erlebnis, weit weg von allem in der Natur.

Домик в тихом месте на берегу озера. В доме есть абсолютно все необходимое для жизни. Рядом с домом баня. Есть лодка и можно ловить рыбу. До ближайшего городка и супермаркетов 12 минут езды. Сначала хозяйка не отвечала на сообщения, и мы немного волновались. Но за сутки она прислала инструкцию по заселению. Инструкция немного непонятная и в ней не хватает координат дома. Возможно , если бы она было на английском, это было бы лучше, потому что перевод с финского неидеальный. Если вы едете с юга, то gps ведет вас в тупик к закрытому шлагбауму. Его можно открыть, а можно заехать с поворота, который находится севернее. Обратите внимание, в объявлении написано, что уборка не входит в цену, но не указана ее стоимость. Оказалось, что за уборку надо доплатить ещё 120 евро!!! Мы оставили дом в идеальном состоянии, неясно, почему такая высокая цена. В целом все понравилось.

Прекрасно оборудованная территория, рядом озеро, лес, барбекюзона, баня, навес для машины. Мы провели отлично время в тишине природы и комфорте! Очень рады, что выбрали этот вариант. Дом очень комфортный, чистый, кухня оборудована всем необходимым. Хозяин поставил нам живую елку! Были настольные игры: карты, монополия, достаточно дров для камина, бани и барбекю. Внутри дома была сауна, но мы не использовали ее. Хозяин очень радушный, встречал нас на машине при поселении. Очень благодарны за новогоднюю обстановку и комфортный отдых. До новых встреч!!🎄💪👍🏻🤝🙏🏻

A very well appointed, 2 BR cabin with a full size fridge and an induction oven. A number of fans were supplied to help keep things cool during the summer heat. The WiFi was great, and we were easily able to catch some of the Paris 2024 Olympics on the TV. We loved the traditional Finnish sauna - heated by wood with the ability to actually throw water on hot rocks (not the case with many hotel saunas). There is a great fire pit which we used to roast "makarra". The latter 2 points reminded me very much of growing up with Finnish parents in Ontario, Canada. A great supply of firewood, too. Some may be taken aback by the indoor, non-flushing toilet and the outhouse, but it is a cabin after all, and not a hotel. (Maybe the host has plans to add a swimming hole on the property one day, who knows!) There is a great "uimranta" (swimming beach) a short drive away. The only minor quibble is the proximity of the railway, which may pose a problem for light sleepers. We'd go back!

cozy house at beautiful lake with lots of outdoor activities and all the amenities you can expect from a vacation retreat ( sauna, row boat, lots of space around the house...)

Majoittaja huolehti esimerkillisesti vieraistaan. Talon varustelutaso oli korkea ja tilat olivat laadukkaat. Majoittajapariskunta oli erittäin helposti lähestyttävä ja mukava.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der kleinen Hütte am See. Es ist wirklich ruhig gelegen, keine direkten Nachbarn. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Häuschen ist gut ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Was man vielleicht wissen sollte, ist, dass die Treppe zum Schlafbereich wirklich steil ist. Alles in allem kann man hier eine Zeit verbringen.

Location location location! Beautiful remote home, surrounded by trees and a huge lake! We came in Feb when it was covered in snow made the scenery even more beautiful! Vey picturesque! There are two local ( 16 km away ) restaurants/take aways and a supermarket for essentials. The house itself is very warm with heated flooring. The hot tub costs extra £150 and it doesn’t have bubbles. It’s just warm water that you need to burn wood with, to warm it up. Is costs extra £15 per person in cash to have Bed linen Had a great time!

Beautiful and very peaceful area and house, the sauna and grill house were clean and ready for use! Arja was super helpful, responsive, and friendly for our whole stay - would love to stay again! 😁❤️
