Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Hardy County

Sarah’s property was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect - private and quiet! She was responsive and super helpful throughout our stay. She has a guide of local attractions/places to go which was a bonus. The hot tub was perfect for the cold winter weather and the fire pit made a great spot for s’mores! Make sure to check out their in house library as well! Can’t wait to book again.

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

What a gem!! We felt right at home and loved the personal touches they added to their home. We truly had a wonderful time here--it was an incredible, cozy escape and we can't wait to come back.

Very clean, very nicely decorated, a spacious living area and dining area. A great place to be able to walk your dogs right off the highway, which may traveling to some destinations easier. Aside from the national park, there is a little state park about 15 minutes away that I highly recommend if you just want a little walk with your dogs or a chill walk after a strenuous hike in the park I greatly appreciated the communication with the host. They were very quick to respond full of information, and a very pleasant interaction from the very beginning. I greatly thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs as they are family. I also loved that the kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and plenty of utensils and plates and the added touch of coffee and tea with creamers!

We felt at home at Bobbi's place. Never had a host meet and greet us to let us in before. It was a different experience! Bobbi was very nice. Her cabin is new and very clean and had everything we needed.

We stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday and spend some quality time in nature. All the amenities were top notch and felt we are staying at our own home. Whatever you need to spend time there is available in the house. Highly recommend and will definitely one back

Gretchen was an outstanding host—she responded to any questions quickly and helpfully. The place looks exactly like the photos—no surprises, no fluff. You can really tell she put a lot of care into making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials—coffee, tea, oil, even dog treats and toiletries—so there’s no need to bring or buy much. I especially loved the balance of being connected to the world via reliable WiFi, while still being surrounded by peaceful nature. One helpful tip: be sure to save the directions and access code before you arrive, as phone signal and GPS can be spotty in the area.

We love going to Bryce and renting through Bryce Mountain was so easy and convenient.

We had a great stay! Peter was very responsive leading up to and throughout our stay. From the extra linens, the disposable silverware and cutlery, pens and notebooks, multiple surge protectors, playing cards, and a drying rack - they thought of everything we could possibly need. Right in Basye - our kids enjoyed the $5 per person per day for the nearby activity center pool. We enjoyed the putt putt at Smiley’s, a great meal at The Burn Barrel, the riverside playground, several hikes and runs around the lake. Our favorite local sites were the Shenandoah Cavern and Woodstock Tower. We would highly recommend this Airbnb!

We had a very nice stay in the condo! It is easy to get to and has a beautiful view of Lake Laura off the back porch. It is spacious and very nicely furnished. The kitchen is well-equipped. Our 3-year-old enjoyed the books, toys, and bunk bed. In all, a modern and comfortable experience for our family of 3 - highly recommend!

Very clean, nicely furnished b&b. Beds were comfortable too. The views out the window were lovely in fall with the changing leaves. We found the stay peaceful and quiet. The apartment had everything we needed. It was a little light on supplies (e.g. detergent pods, shampoo and conditioner) but we had brought our own supplies so it wasn’t an issue.

The place does have an excellent view, and the location is perfect. It’s under 30 min from a lot of great trails, and even the immediate area is lovely to explore. The one thing I will say is that the condo is on the older side, so don’t expect fresh, new appliances. Nonetheless, everything (including the heating) works flawlessly. Patricia and Tracy were very responsive and very helpful, ready to help with whatever I needed. Another important note is all the hills, in that the condos around here are all literally built into them. Be prepared to walk uphill and put stress on your car. Other than that, there’s nothing I would change.

Just a quick overnight stay so we didn’t get to do much. The place was clean and the beds were comfy.

Wonderful weekend getaway for our family! Jennifer was very responsive and the staff and facilities on site were excellent!

Perfect location for the slopes. Ok, you don’t get the view of them from the condo but the ground/first floor location is so worth it!
