Room annexed to my house in lovely coastal village setting. Private entrance and private patio area.
“Rosie’s property was ideal for our short stay in North Devon. It is a really imaginative use of a small space which gave us all the amenities we needed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable break. Rosie is a very helpful host. A cream tea on arrival was a splendid extra touch. The property gives easy access to the coastal path and to local visitor attractions. It is centrally located in Hartland - one minute’s walk from a friendly cafe that serves good breakfasts, and one minute’s walk from a pub that serves excellent meals. We will certainly stay again.”
A cosy 200 year old cottage which was Mary Norton's last home (author of the Borrowers). We are moments from the footpath leading down to the sea, the southwest coast path and Hartland Quay. Being in the village we are a short walk from shops, pubs. Breakfast is organic, breads and brioches, homemade, jams and jellies made from the fruits of our own kitchen garden. Vegetarians and all other dietary requirements catered for. An cosy ensuite double bedroom is also available at this property.
“Super host isn’t high enough praise for these lovely hosts. Sally and John were amazing, so helpful and there if you needed them but not over bearing so you had your own space as well. The breakfast was out of this world, home made bread and jams and lovely things and the cottage is enchanting just as is the village of Hartland. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, couldn’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning.”
Honeysuckle is a static caravan on our family owned and run campsite on the North Devon coast situated in the coastal village of Hartland. Honeysuckle is like your best friend! Perhaps getting older on the outside but beautiful on the inside. We have just completely gutted her throughout and rebuilt her in the style of a shepherds hut providing spacious, light and welcoming accommodation with your own private fenced garden from where you can walk to the village for a meal, pint or G & T.
“The description is spot on - Honeysuckle was spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated and so comfortable. Had two nights and would definitely recommend. Zoe had even left food bowls, towel and blanket for our dog. Ate at two pubs in Hartland, visited Clovelly, Croyde and Hartland Quay.”
