We spent a wonderful Christmas 2024 with grandparents, children and grandchildren as a large family in the "Gites des Hulottes" with Sylvie! The house is really much nicer and more cozy than in the photos, very tastefully decorated and matching the old walls and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is really extremely well equipped and we were able to cook for 14 people without any problems! Sylvie welcomed us personally and very warmly and provided us with fresh croissants, baguette and pain au chocolats every morning! Sylvie had sleds ready for the children and there were lots of games! Thanks to the onset of winter, the children were able to romp around the house in the snow and build an igloo. You can take long walks through the forest and the surroundings directly from the house and it was also not far to the La Bresse ski resort. We felt very comfortable all around and would be happy to come back! Many thanks Sylvie for your warm hospitality!

Very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Lots of room, all amenities and more. Russell was a super friendly and flexible host. Highly recommended, although we would prefer to keep it secret so it does not get overboooked :)

We had a lovely extended weekend at Isabelle's place. The apartment is very cozy, nicely spacious and impeccably clean. We particularly liked the beautiful large kitchen, and the view from the windows of a stork's nest and the castle :) The location in Katzenthal is great for excursions - we drove to Colmar and the Vosges, to Colmar it only takes a few minutes by car. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Thank you again!

We had a pleasant stay with the family with us two dogs. Beautiful walks nearby, close to the slopes, the accommodation is super well located. The wood-burning fire in the middle of the living rooms brought a warm side to our evenings. A little extra for the welcome of Marie who had thought of our babies and the accommodation was very hot when we arrived in the evening. In addition, we enjoyed the heathered decor and learn about the history of the building, highlighted by Marie. We felt right at home there and will come back!

We had an exceptional stay at this house in Gerardmer! Everything was perfect: the house is spacious, clean and full of character. The amenities are great with pool and foosball that made everyone happy. The logistics and hospitality were spotless, everything was fluid and well organized. And to top it all off, we were lucky enough to have a lot of snow, making the setting even more magical. Many thanks to hosts for this great experience. We will come back without hesitation!

Ideally located in the countryside close to many activities for young and old(cigoland, the volleyball its eagles, the mountain its monkeys, naturoparc, the silver mines in tellurium , the castle of upper koenisbourg) Well appointed and perfectly suited for 2 adults and 2 young children.

My husband, myself and our 19 yr old daughter had a wonderful 7 night stay here over Christmas. Isabelle is such a lovely and caring host. She had decorated the apartment so thoughtfully for the holidays making for a memorable Christmas Day. It was immaculately clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. While there were no wardrobes, this was no issue at all. There are ledges that run the length of the bedrooms and we placed our packing cubes of clothing on these which worked perfectly. As well there are hooks for hanging additional items. The village is quaint and quiet. We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning at the kitchen table looking at the view out the large windows and hearing the church bells. There is also a beautiful and easy 3mi. loop walking trail thru the vineyards/village accessible just a few minutes walk from the apt. We LOVED the nearby E.Leclerc Hypermarket for groceries and more. We would fully recommend a stay here!

Ideally located for visiting the Christmas markets in the Colmar region. Very good hosting by the owners. The accommodation is as described on the site. We enjoyed: cleanliness of the premises, well-equipped and functional kitchen, good bedding, bathroom with underfloor heating😄, garage for the car and beautiful Christmas decoration. we had a great stay. The house was beautiful, clean and super comfy. There were also some Easter decorations to make everything even better. The kids never wanted to leave the house. Couple of minutes away from the main street of the town but also surrounded by beatutiful vineyards. I highly recommend Virginie's place

The house is so beautiful, we missed our planned Europapark visit to have more time at the house. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen mega equipped. We were 7 adults and 2 kids. In 30 minutes you are in beautiful Alsatian villages, hiking is possible directly at the house. The area swells over good wine and delicious cheese. The house is so quiet and great in the green. Oh, what can I say - we were all so in love with the house and area!

very nice and cozy accommodation, absolutely quiet and well located to get to know the region and simply relax. in a short distance there are shopping facilities and the villages of Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé and Kaysersberg are very close. Fred is a great host, everything was to our satisfaction!
