The river is slow moving and warm in the summer months but too cold and fast for swimming or boating in the off season (usually Nov-May). We are a five-minute drive to Hastings and a ten-minute drive to Campbellford where you will find all types of stores including hardware, grocery, bakery, restaurants and more!
