“We had a lovely stay at the pod. Was nice and clean, great location close to shops and 10 minute drive to the beach. We went on a freezing weekend but the pod was lovely and warm and cosy with everything you’d need. The host Eira was a lovely women and a great host with tea and biscuits there for us when we arrived 😊 We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back soon.”

“Hosts were so kind to let us stay! During these crazy times, all hotels were shut down and we had no where to go. Hosts replied quickly and were compassionate to our immediate need for assistance. We were taking a ferry from Ireland to Pembroke so we arrived at 2 am. Hosts stayed up to wait for us to check us in. Gracious, kind people! The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Highly recommend!”
Spring Gardens is close to the town centre. You’ll love my house because of the character of the building which has an interesting history. The accommodation is comfortable and well equipped. I provide a private room with shared use of two bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room.
“Haverfordwest is a brilliant place to stay if you need a base to explore Pembrokeshire. 8a Spring Gardens was a great cost-effective option for us as we were trying to keep costs low. However, it does not feel at all cheap! Lucinda and Peter have done a brilliant job getting this historic house up and running. The spaces have been well thought out to provide relaxation and plenty of room to share with others. We saw quite a few different occupants come in and out over the time we were there and so it makes for a quite social option to stay in. However, if you want your private time, the bedrooms are equally lovely and easy to lock out the world! There is a lovely garden at the property and, although we were disappointed not to have use of the balcony, in the end were very happy to have a quiet space to sit out and enjoy the sunshine. (If you want to access the balcony, you will need to rent the 'luxury' room at the front of the house). Peter - Lucinda's husband - met us for check in and was very welcoming. He gave us the full tour - even letting us choose our room - and showed us the facilities. They provide milk and orange juice in the fridge; tea and cereal on the shelves; and a cupboard of ingredients left by previous occupants. Overall, a well stocked kitchen! Lucinda and Peter would pop in occasionally to change beds and were nice to chat to. They never arrived at an inappropriate time and were good with recommending places to go. We particularly enjoyed their recommendation for a place to go hill-walking. Their son does live in the adjoining building (number 8) that they are still working on, but never interrupted, nor were we ever inconvenienced by the fact they're still working on the second property. The house is a real gem in an ideal location and a complete steal for the price you pay! Would definitely recommend it!”
