We had a wonderful stay. The place is super clean and spacious. The town itself is quiet and near the water, and there are plenty of fun things to do just a short drive away. Robynne is a phenomenal hostess and was very helpful with recommendations. Her huskies are so sweet and well behaved and loved to say hi to us. I highly recommend staying here!!

What a great place! The place had an ocean view and the yard was beautifully landscaped. The kitchen had everything a person could want, even spices except for cinnamon and nutmeg. The new shopping center in Pahoa is great, too. We especially liked the health food market in Pahoa. The prices were more reasonable than at the regular market and had wonderful staff! We will definitely stay again whwn we return in a couple of years!!

Had a fantastic time here. Perfect spot if you like quiet and relaxation. Lots of space and amenities. Close to Hilo and the volcano. Fantastic hosts. Very helpful with lots of tips and info. Very responsive. We're particularly helpful during our arrival day due to a missed connection in Honolulu. Very much appreciated waiting up so late and info sent. Thank you. We will be back.

We love this place! The screened, spacious lanai w a was a wonderful place to spend our days. No bugs. We did about 99% of our eating here-the kitchen provides nice quality tableware & cookware. Good quality appliances too. The small, grassy country park just across the street seems popular w/locals who are unobtrusive and respectful - kite flying, a croquet game, small family picnics on the lawn - even a school hula dancing group which came to practice one day. Joe & Cindy, the co-hosts responded quickly to any questions. This is worth the stay!
