The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skis and by bike. There is the possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door, there is a well-developed network of well-prepared ski slopes. It is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities both in summer and winter.

You have a nice forest behind the hill with blueberries and mushrooms, a 3.5 km plowed walking path and a cold dip in the river ten minutes' walk away. As well as bike paths. Bring your family and friends to this great place along Glomma in Østerdalen. The property has shoreline and very good opportunities for both swimming, fishing, paddling by canoe or kayak. In addition, annex, gapahuk and sauna are available. Hot tub open from June-Oct. The cottage has three spacious bedrooms with 8 beds and the annex has 3 beds. The cabin has good standards with a new well-equipped kitchen and a cozy bathroom. Laundry room and additional toilet in the basement. Great patios w/ fire pans.

The cabin has full bathroom with toilet and shower, kitchen with fridge, freezer and hob. Outdoors you will have your private cone sauna. If you are more than two guests, you will have access to the small guest cabin next door. Then you have two bedrooms and share a bathroom/kitchen in Konglehytta itself. The guest house has a fridge, coffee maker and some equipment.

Driving distance from Oslo is 210 kilometers / 2h 25m / from the airport about 2 hours In winter, you can go straight out on ski slopes that are connected to an extensive trail network.
