Kvitfjell Vest - Tiurmyra

JoachimRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were already there last year, knew what to expect and chose the house again because of that. There is just everything you need, it is very cozy and comfortable, and the ski conditions are perfect. Sitting outside on the sofa in the sun in the afternoon simply cannot be replaced :-) Only the communication for the appointment for the booking was a bit difficult, as we come from Germany and rely on vacation/ferry trips. But it may also be due to the automatic translation. Unfortunately, a short-term cancellation on our side was no longer taken into account in the price. But apart from these formalities: the house and Bjornar are great, I would go back anytime, perfect for a group of 8 people to ski in Kvitfjell!

DALARNA: Real plank chalet

SofiaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
A very nice home in a lovely environment. Easy to get to ski tracks from the cabin. Sometimes we took the car for a short ride to Lövåsen (2 minutes) or Grövelsjön (15 minutes) or elsewhere nearby and went from there but it was also possible to walk / ski directly to trails from the cabin. In the cabin there was everything you need. We used the sauna extensively and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace in the evening (easy to buy wood from the cabin host or in shops nearby). Good waffles at several of the cafes as well as very good food at Lövåsgården mountain hotel were nearby. Good, detailed information by Gunilla before arrival made the entire stay smooth. We had a nice holiday week and would love to come back!

Cheerful lofted cabin, undisturbed location

ColindaRating, 5 stars32 months ago
We stayed with two adults, a child of 7 years old and our bordercollie in Anders wooden cabin. We loved the simplicity, getting fresh water from the stream. In the beginning it seemed a pity we didn't had a warm shower. But because of that we enjoyed jumping in the little creek and washing our hair with warm water next to the creek. I promise you a fresh kick start of the day. You have access to a toilet which is clean and a washing table with warm water. Also you can boil the water in the kitchen. Because the cabin is just slightly different this way, you become more creative. The sun is warming up the veranda in the morning, so we had breakfast outside a couple of times. Do clean up because there is a giant ant pile next to the cabin, but by paying attention it did not bother us. We hiked up the mountain and we drove to different places, also to Sweden to hike with reindeer. Bring your own sleeping bag. the place has woolen blankets but no sleeping blankets. The only disadvantage I can think of is that we didn't see any wildlife close to the cabin, except for some hawks, and a squirrel. I would recommend this place to find rest and quietness. Thank you Anders for sharing such a lovely place!

Hytter Ann - Cozy, family friendly, well equipped

KalleRating, 5 stars24 months ago
The cabin was very cozy and it was a good fit for two families with a total of four adults and three kids of 7, 9 and 11 years. If there are more, two must be prepared to stay in a loft. The technical equipment was high quality, although the dishwasher crashed for us at the end of the week but it's things that happen. Bed linens and towels were of high quality. It is easy to drive to Trysil's ski area, however, please be aware that SkiStar charges for the parking spaces closest to the lifts. Gus was a very nice host and was easy to reach when we had questions!

Beautiful house in a top location, quiet location but close to all necessary facilities such as restaurants and ski lift. Actually it was even more beautiful than in the photos.

This was the most beautiful home - amazing hikes all around you with easy access to the lovely village of Roa and access to many other wonderful trips around Oslo. It was so peaceful staying here. Cecile and Eivind were absolutely lovely and made this trip so very special. It was a once in a life time visit that we will remember forever. Thank you Cecile and Eivind!

Trysil Mountain Chalet

JørgenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The place is really good for larger groups - we were a group of 10 adults and 7 kids. For such groups it's ideal that the house is large and divided into different "zones" allowoing you to retract to your own zone. The actual kitchen is a bit small for such a large house - other than that, the facilities were great. The outdoor spa did not work when we were there.

The Cabin placed on the ski slope.

Mina BrennaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great stay! Highly recommended. Good communication with Berit. Perfect for the 19 of us who were on a trip together last week in July. Lovely view and all amenities in order. Only thing that got a little scary for us 5 families with 9 children aged 1-4 was the stairs up to the top floor, which was the type of open staircase and without a baby gate in the bottom and top.
