The atmosphere is created by a cozy fireplace in the cottage and what is more wonderful than brewing your morning coffee unhurriedly with a traditional wood stove. Cottage by the lake

If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

In this unique and peaceful cottage, it is easy to relax while looking at the beautiful lake landscape. Cottage 55m² and new 30m² yard building as well as a large terrace and barbecue area on the beach. Air heat pump and fireplace in use. Close to good fishing, berry picking, and outdoor terrain. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

Erakkomaja Savukallio – Off-Grid

The cabin, built from old smoke sauna logs, is located in the lake landscape of Savo, about 70 km from Kuopio. The property offers a simple, authentic and natural wilderness experience for couples and travellers seeking peace and quiet.

Detached house in the countryside. Quiet location. Here you can effortlessly stay along your trip or take a vacation. 17km to the center of Heinävesi, where you can find shops and other necessary services. Two double beds, one of which can be split into two. Bed linens and towels are included. In the winter, the possibility of sledding from the yard directly to the Heinävesi sled trails. Good opportunities for outdoor activities. The yard can accommodate a truck. It's possible to rent for stays longer than 2 nights.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

Villa Myllymäki

In the villa Myllymäki, built on top of Myllymäki with my own hands, it is easy to relax and get close to nature while enjoying the magnificent scenery. A window the size of the entire end wall frames the magnificent lake landscape. The farm has about 40 hectares of forest for animal grazing, which guarantees easy and fine hiking terrain. The distance to the center of Savonlinna is 10 km by car or 6 km by boat. The farm also has a private lean-to by the pond with equally stunning views.

The House of Three Bears

The Three Bears' House is a unique place to stay in Vihtari, Heinävesi. You will stay in your own peace in the pearl of nature, enjoy the silence of the forest and watch the fire at dusk. You can use the hosts' hundred-year-old wood-heated sauna for washing. For example, two big bears, a cub bear and Goldilocks can be accommodated. The big bears have also slept in a bunk bed, but they are best suited for a double bed. The bunk bed is a little smaller than usual.

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.

Peaceful apartment in a prime location

The apartment is located on the edge of Old Varkaus near Lake Saimaa, close to services, culture, and nature. The Väinölä Art Center, Tyyskä Artist Residency, and Konsti Museum Center are within walking distance. Nearby Koskipuisto park leads to the Kämärä nature trail, heading towards the historic Taipale Canal, its museum, and a summer café. The location also suits business travelers, with Stora Enso, Sumitomo, and Navitas Business Center just minutes away.
