Monthly Rentals in Herebost

Photos don’t do this beautiful cottage justice! It was so welcoming, comfortable and just such a gorgeous home. Really good energy. No issues finding the accommodation, even arriving in the dark. Instructions were clear and it felt very easy after a long day of travel. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for a few nights. Made our trip so special and memorable. Especially with the view each morning with clear skies and sunny weather post storm. Margaret was so kind to my partner and I. Such a wonderful host and has put so much love into this house and place that her family have connections to. We really appreciated the scones and cupcakes too on our arrival. Nayri nina-tu - thank you It really was the most perfect place to stay part of my birthday trip and after a really hard last few months with grief and loss. Can’t wait to come back again one day and spend more time on Skye - truly a magical place.

We had an amazing stay! Rosie was a very kind hostess, her dogs were very cute and well behaved and the house was just like on the photos. It’s so peaceful there and especially the kitchen was really well-equipped (the rest is really well-equipped too)! I can only advise anyone looking for some peace and quiet in the Scottish Highlands to come to her AirBnb :)

A great place to spend a short trip to Skye!

Fabulous stay at Taigh Chalum. Lovely location and excellent for star gazing. The accommodation had everything you need for a break and nice to sit on the couch in front of the picture window and pass time watching nothing go by!!! Cosy without being stuffy and nice to let fresh air in through the windows without having to worry about the midges at this time of year. Close to Dunvegan for supplies and easy to get to the many walks I had planned. The only tricky things were negotiating the driveway (give it some gas) and figuring out how to lock the door but this was easy once you’d worked it out. All in all, an excellent stay on Skye.
