Welcome to our stylish & cozy Basalt barn on the Gelbachhöhen in the beautiful Westerwald! A special retreat in the middle of the Nassau Nature Park. Large kitchen, fireplace, piano, "Irish Pub", balcony and garden and nature right outside the door are waiting for you. Hiking trails, the nearby forest and attractive excursion destinations in the Westerwald invite you to explore. For couples or small groups of up to 4 people – peace, comfort and barn atmosphere included.

The house is surrounded by greenery and yet close to the city. The panorama over the Rhine Valley and the city up to the Deutsches Eck is unique. The house is flooded with light. In the living room there is a Steinway grand piano and a library. Have breakfast in the conservatory or on the terrace in front of the kitchen. One of the bedrooms is particularly large and has its own bathroom. In three of the bedrooms, the mattresses have been on the floor so far.

The town of Diez with the Count's Castle is only 20 minutes away on foot and the Hessian town of Limburg an der Lahn with its historic old town and cathedral is a maximum of 10 minutes away by car. Anyone who has always wanted to spend a nice time in a half-timbered house will find our favorite place in Winden, our half-timbered vacation home from the 17th century. century. You have space for 10 people and can explore the Westerwald from here. It has 5 bedrooms each with a double bed, a dining room, kitchen, two bathrooms and a small, cozy living room. From here it is not far to Koblenz, Limburg, Frankfurt or Cologne.

Stay by the park

The apartment is quietly located in the annex of our restaurant "Tacheles," directly next to Robert-Heck-Park. It invites you to relax and recharge. Feel at home, without work. But you are also a minute's walk from the old town and the Lahn, five minutes from the city center and ten minutes by car from Limburg. There are various sights, hiking and cycling trails in the vicinity and in summer all kinds of water activities.
