The Melkstal

Experience the Farm Life at "Die Melkstal" Guesthouse! Our quaint guesthouse started its life as a three point cow milking parlor in the early 80's. The parlor has been converted into a three bedroom self catering guesthouse. Being situated 12km from the nearest town of Heidelberg Western Cape, Die Melkstal is fairly close to the Route 62 and the start of the Garden Route. With little to no selfone signal or Wi-Fi, you can relax and unwind without distractions!

This unique dwelling sits un the heart of the village and yet offers serenity and quiet. It has a wonderful view over the garden and village onto the Langeberg mountains. Compact yet spacious. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
